Interesting They make good high drain cells in my limited experience I've used non OEM Matika replacement packs using their cells and they have been better an than originals

I use an 11.1v booster - so 48v nominal This is right on the limits of this controller though and I was told it may go pop. I think I get away with it as I use 18650 cells and get some voltage sag hence don't quite hit the upper voltage cap I suspect if I used 48v nominal of lipo it would go...

Rc lipo won't have the c rating issue

Perhaps going the RC lipo route? Two 5000mah 5s packs in series maybe ? Best for energy density I believe but additional care required and risks involved Hobbyking is the place for such things
