Prices of the electricity we use to charge

I got my window cleaner to do mine for £25, which I thought was a ripoff because he only charges £10 for the windows, which takes longer. My house is a bungalow.

Yosepower 350w Lishui. Change controller, or change to mid-motor bike?

P4=1, C4=3 are the settings for legal. Have you set C14 =1? The best I've see is about £150 for a motor wheel on Aliexpress. The shipping is ecpensive because of the size of the box. Motors on their own can be had for about £65, but then you have to buy a rim, spokes and build it.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Your panels must need cleaning. Here's what mine did for this year. 500 units generate in March compared with your 120, and 200 already in April compared with your 40:

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

I found out some important stuff today about heatpumps and gas. I went to the Landlords Association meeting, where we had speakers from various agencies. The first were dealing with helping tenants reduce their energy costs and the second was dealing with energy performance certification(EPCs)...

    Battery help

Theoretically, you'd get more range from a 52v battery with the same number of amp-hours as a 48v one because it has 14/13 more cells in it, but your controller will give you the same number of amps, which means 14/13 times as much power when you demand it, so you'll use it up a bit quicker...

    Battery help

If you program it for the 52v battery, with a LVC of say 42.0v, the 48v one will work fine, but it'll cut off at 42v instead of the normal 39v or whatever you have had it set to. There's not much charge left by the timea 48v battery gets to 42v, so you won't lose much.

    Convert my Rockhopper help

It shouldn't foul the cranks. I have one with Shimano SLX Hollotech cranks and there's plenty of clearance. A Hailong type battery is 90mm wixe. You can check how much clearance you have. with a ruler. The problem with inverting a Hailong battery is that the connectors are not properly sealed...

A new kit is on the block

If you look on the Aikema website, they're all listed as 27/32km/hr, so I don't think that's it. For some motors, they make different windings and different internal gears for the same motors, depending on the size of the wheel that you want to put them in. I would have thought the RS and RX are...

    Convert my Rockhopper help

I've never heard of that being an issue before. What do you mean? It looks like a standard Shimano SLX Hollowtech bottom bracket to me. The only problem I can see is to install a battery.

    Convert my Rockhopper help

The post is 11 years old, so the guy has long gone, and things are different today anyway. The main concern is the battery. You're going to have to be very creative to get a satisfactory solution. You can't put one on a rack unless it's a very small battery because the weight would be too high...

    Towbar cycle racks

I'm pretty sure that neither of the two I had would fit to anything other than a round ball. Can't you ask the supplier of this non-ball towball which racks are compatible?

Need a set of front forks

There's nothing in washing that makes them go rusty. It's the salt that they put on winter roads that does the damage. 27.5" forks are relatively expensive for decent ones that don't go rusty. You can generally go by the colour for how likely they are to go rusty. Shiny chrome is the worst...

A new kit is on the block

The rating comes from the speed you use it at. If you restrict it to 15mph, they call it a 250w one, and if you let it go to 20 mph, it's 350w. The problem is that it doesn't tie up with our legal definition. If you buy enough of them for a specific restricted 15.5 mph bike, they will label it...

Are the KT controllers slightly pessimistic as far as battery level ?

It's supposed to be the other way round. The controller should cut first. Battery BMSs are usually set a bit low - typically around 2.9v per cell, but by the time the cells go that low, they have very little charge left, which can send some much lower if you don't charge immediately, and it's...

Are all Trioblade e-bikes the same

They're fine as ebikes and good value for money, but not legal as they come. The independent throttle is not allowed. You could disconnect it to solve that problem. The next thing is their speed. I don't see any sellers specifically mention that it's limited to 25 km/hr, so you need to confirm...

First, get a meter and check whether you have 5v on any of the wires where it should be - red wires on throttle, pedal sensor, hall sensors or anywhere else. Report back when you've done the check.

Wich case/bag would you reccomend for my battery?

Your rack isn't the best design for a battery. it's going to hold it too high and too far back. If you're going to put a battery on a rack, it needs to be the opposite of that and 29" wheels don't help either. A silver fish battery might just fit in the triangle if you can make some suitable...
