25.4mm 1inch steerer forks with disc mount

You screw the fixed pad (inside one) until it just touches the disc when you spin the wheel, then back it off until it doesn't touch. If your disc isn't flat, you can tweak it a bit with pliers to get the pad closer. The outside pad doesn't matter so much. All it does is affect how far you have...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

I've been buying it for 5 years now. It was £1400 when I started, now it's £2400. It's the sort of thing that helps you spread your bets on investments. I already have property and equities. My main reason for buying gold is as a hedge against currency collapse rather than an investment. A lot...

25.4mm 1inch steerer forks with disc mount

Have you adjusted them properly? It's very important that you get the back pad at the right distance.watch your disc as you apply the brake. If you see it bend sideways, you need to adjust.

Of course you can as long as the marking isn't fraudulent. You'd have to be able to justify it, if asked.

    new battery needed.Greenway YJ145 36 vl

First OP has to decide what they want to do it, then we show how to do it. It's not difficult to do. The only difficulty is to overcome the paradigm that forces the one to only think of the OEM battery. I look for the simple solution to the overall problem and I use the principle of how to make...

Didn't you post details of your bike on the forum when you first got it? That should be sufficient evidence.

Complete rubbish. The manufacturer has rated those motors at 250w, so they're completely legal. There's never been any regulation about how much power a motor can make. Look at Bosch motors. The first 250w ones went 25km/hr and made 40Nmm torque. The latest ones make 85Nm and still go 25km/hr...

    new battery needed.Greenway YJ145 36 vl

I've never seen a cheap ebike that didn't have the battery connected by only two wires. When there are only two wires, you can use any 36v battery you want - just connect the two wires.

The 48v TSDZ8 is completely legal. Woosh only sells legal stuff. The law is on the rating of the motor, not the power output, so you can get as much power as you need as long as the motor is marked 250w by the manufacturer. Bosch motors take about 900 watts from the battery, which gives an...

    Hi everyone.

Thanks. They're nice bikes when they're going, but they get too many problems. Some of the Halfords are not too bad when it comes to fixing their ebikes, but other ones are useless. There's no way in the world that the motor could have caused that problem, and £500 is a ridiculous price.

If they're not strong enough, you can stick a plain disc magnet on top. The magnets are very cheap on their own.

At 97 kg, you'd probably be better with a 48v system. Woosh do a 48v TSDZ8 kit, which will probably do everything you want. You can get a donor bike off Facebook or NextDoor ads if you don't already have one. Any bike with a stand bottom bracket, triangle frame and disc brakes would be good...

What???? - On how many lunches you've had, or how many times you forgot to rince the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher? I've accumulated three dinner plates now and two cereal bowls, so I might have to wash the dishes tonight in the sink. Can I ask kindly if you could advise me what...

What are they expecting to find inside the motor? Are they going to check the number of turns on the coils in case someone rewound it? They should have come to me for training. I reckon I could've covered everything in about 4 hrs.
