Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Airloom technologies claims that they can make electricity for 1.3 US cent per kwh from wind. Initial investment is about 250k USD for their kit. Do you believe that? Bill Gates apparently invested in it. It does sound plausible though.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

EVs will account for less CO2 in its lifecycle because already half of our electricity is from renewables and more so in the future. I follow the progress of EV manufacturing from watching Australian Sam Evans' YT channel. They live in Thailand(?) and says that EVs sell very well in South East...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

EVs are displacing ice cars. The force behind this is low price evs are easier to make than comparative ice cars. Also, whenever technology to use your electric car to store cheap power for your house is available, they will become even more compelling.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

I watched yt channel ectric viking, Sam Evans told us at the beginning of the year that ev prices will collapse this year because China double their production exploiting new sodium battery tech. Price of electric cars in China starts at around 10k dollars.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

The young don't see owning a car is necessary. My children laugh at me everytime I suggested they need a car for their kids. They just walk, cycle, take the bus or underground or train or rent a car when necessary. We need a car because of arthritis.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The fighting broke out apparently this evening. Braverman has a lot to say but so far, no killer blow unless she has some kompromat?

    Help! Conversion suggestions

How about trouble free, time saving, compliance, product insurance, neatness? Buying from China when it's for prototyping makes sense but for less than £50 worth of saving?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

They are already a laughing stock. The fact is Sunak could not find anyone better than Cameron out of the current 350 tory MPs says it all. Cameron is intelligent but appears insincere and usually makes the wrong choices.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Marr tried to get Dorries to name drop. She was doing the rounds to sell her book 'The Plot'. Marr wasn't very successful so all in all, it was a waste of time.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I watched a YT video of Andrew Marr interviewing Nadine Dorries on LBC yesterday. It seems that Dom Cummings is still very active and his group will choose who governs the UK. Personally, I think it's a mistake to bring Cameron back.

I wonder why you choose buying from China. On the face of it, the kit is not particularly better than what you can find in the UK, the price is not particularly much cheaper after you factor in the duty and vat.

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

I know you just try to wind me up. You surely know that everywhere contains everywhere so when comparing a property between two groups A and B, A cannot be identical to B so neither A nor B can be 'everywhere'. A can be every where on land and B can be everywhere else or the whole earth but not...

They are relative measurements. There are 30 El Niño recorded events, so it's not something new. I don't pay much attention to these events because it's difficult to separate local drivers from global observations. I don't care much for global warming anyway. These things will be sorted out soon...

It's not a theory, common sense will suffice to justify the observations. You can dig deeper into local variables but we are talking averages here.

most of the earth is covered in water. It follows from that where there are human habitation, it's going to warm up faster than the average.

interesting aricles. Biden has to spend some money in CCS technologies but the small amounts so far invested by private investors show clearly that the potential of on land CCS tech is quite small. The problem I see is not only the cost but the whole process of using lime to capture CO2...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Bbc news: Suella Braverman has been sacked. Just what she wanted but good riddance nonetheless. Gove should take her post. David Cameron has just walked through the door after James Cloverly. What post has he been given?

All of them are not complete theories. They are just suggestions or points of view. I don't pay much attention to them. Even our standard model of subatomic particles is not complete. Our understanding is fact based and as we find more facts, we understand better. It's only recently that we...
