    Illegal ebike crackdown Coventry

I can look into this, no promises though, I don't know anything about their technology.

I used to but not since covid. Why do you want to know?

    Illegal ebike crackdown Coventry

I was in Paris last week, just after the riots. Driving through Nanterre where it started. The danger is less the e-scooters, it's mainly the motorbikes. They squeeze themselves between cars with literally zero gap. It's only because you drive at 4mph in the centre of Paris that you avoid accidents.

    Bafang BB clearance

It's all good. I fitted the bbs01 to a frame like this before.

Would a Dawes Karakum be a reasonable donor bike for use when using an e bike conversion kit.

Hello Simon, Your Karakum is straightforward to convert with an XF07 front hub and a downtube battery. For a 20 mile round trip, you'll need about 5AH so anything from 10AH will do. If you want to explore your project with a Woosh kit, please email kits@wooshbikes.co.uk

I did, a few years ago. It's perfect for flat-ish terrains.

    Brake sensor and Impulse Evo

What kind of wave form (sinusoidal, sawtooth, trapezoidal or Square wave) starts the motor? Does it expect a positive minimal value to avoid limping mode?

    Brake sensor and Impulse Evo

is it microcontroller based? If it is, then it may be worth your time creating the code for it. @SW, that video you linked to is in German. I just wonder if you speak German.

    Brake sensor and Impulse Evo

how do you simulate the torque signal at present?

    Brake sensor and Impulse Evo

depending on the programming, some systems let you use PAS mode some require torque signal to be over an 'analog zero' voltage before starting the motor. I suppose you can replace the dead torque sensor with a throttle and fit a brake sensor to the existing PAS so that it will cut the PAS when...

You can rewire the new PAS signal to where the old PAS goes.

Biggest/most powerful 20" front wheel motor for cargo bike?

a 36V 201RPM motor will become 48V 201*1.3=261RPM The maximum speed depends on the circumference of your tyre. for example, your tyre is 20 x 1.95. Circumference: 1.57M Maximum speed 261 * 1.57 * 60 = 24.6kph = 15.3mph I would not recommend the Q128 for cargo bikes though. Its gearbox is too...

    Brake sensor and Impulse Evo

a torque sensor has 4 wires: ground, 5V, pulsed PAS and analog torque. Sometimes the analog torque output is also pulsed, but that's rare. To simulate the torque, you need to use the PAS signal as the override cut off switch to stop the motor when the pedalling stop. For sample code, there is a...

What temperature indicates the start of thermal runaway in a lithium ion battery?

The internal resistance of a cell drops when the temperature rises. the mechanism of thermal runaway is that something, a mechanical or electrical or chemical event triggers that positive feedback loop. When it's a fault, it raises the temperature past the point of no return. The positive...

Following on from my introduction to this forum I have questions

that's the output voltage of the SANS charger too, but what the voltage you see at the output is typically 41.3V-41.5V because of the drop through the charge and discharge junctions in the BMS.

    eBrompton Build

I cabletie the top of the bag to the handlebars bolt at the top of the stem to stop the swinging from side to side. The large width of the plastic cabletie gives the bag a stabilising effect.
