    Help ebco tranz battey bms

An Eagle currently listed on ebay shows the battery you need is a TranzX BL05. It seems the same battery was used in various European bike models too. TranzX don't show it as a current model, but that's not to say if there's demand they wouldn't make any more. A few Dutch & German retailers like...

    Help ebco tranz battey bms

You see Eagles broken up for parts on ebay from time to time. Beyond that the bike is too old and too quirky; even the PST system was dropped by TranzX in favour of newer CANbus quite some years ago. AFAIK there isn't any UK support for TranzX e-bike systems anymore (not even the newer CANbus)...

Help! Giant Prime motor cuts out after a few seconds

My guess would be a knackered battery. At 7/8 years old it'll be well past it's prime, and what you say about pedaling/applying torque suggests the voltage is sagging to the point of cutting out when you're demanding high current from it. The battery may well behave better if you only pedal...

    Tire Pressure....

Carrying 130kg (suggested max payload is often 120kg), on a new rear hub motor wheel you maybe need to check/tighten your spokes from time to time, especially while that wheel is still bedding in.

5A 36V charger, evaluation and modding

18W (measured) when the LED turns from Red to Green is the same as my two 2A SANS and one 2A TranzX charger: 18W/42V = 0.42A

    Fiido D11 Folding e-bike - A sort of review

It's not the volume, it's the dimensions you'd need to worry about. This one is too "shoebox" shaped, which for me fits a flask and pot noodle/sandwich/nibbles plus cup/coffee perfectly. There are similar volume 5L handlebar bags on Amazon/Ali which are wider/longer and flatter/slimmer that...

    Fiido D11 Folding e-bike - A sort of review

It came from Amazon, but isn't there now (or on Ebay or Ali) that I can see. It was sold as a 5.5L Scooter Handlebar bag. Two Velcro straps at the top go over the handlebars and one at the bottom to go around the stem. Equally, it attaches to the D11's handlebars/stem, or saddle rails/battery...

    Help! Wiring new controller

That is reason enough why many wouldn't buy one. But the point is more might if they had some control over their e-bike's longer term viability in terms of fixing it and keeping it running themselves... without resorting to kit-bikes and lower level imports with generic parts. I think the...

    Help! Wiring new controller

There's no reason why the manufacturer couldn't make these diagnostic systems available to the end users... other than it's protecting the business of the resellers/dealers. All the bike-owner needs is a laptop/tablet and a cable to diagnose and repair their own bikes. Bafang's latest CANbus...

    Raleigh Forge, old tranzx query

I've seen those displays turn up on ebay (both new and s/h from breakers) especially on .de and .fr although Holland Bike usually hold good TranzX spares. Another member here was trying to source a DP15 TranzX display with no luck even though TranzX were showing them available in stock at their...

    Help! Wiring new controller

Then it's most likely tx/rx/CANbus/UART comms where everything talks to everything and if those comms aren't present in the form it expects at best it'll throw an error code and at worst nothing works. Welcome to the world of closed systems just like Bosch, Yamaha, Brose et al. On my own TranzX...

    Help! Wiring new controller

If that's from your Carrera Impel 2 with the Hyena controller, it'll be as Nealh suggests - comms of some sort. There's no standard between systems so it could be anything. On some there're things like temp sensor, low voltage tap for bike lighting, digital feed for battery/range display.

E bike battery life if not used regularly

I would be very careful: The bike uses CANbus to communicate between motor, display and battery. There's little you could substitute/fix without original manufacturers parts and those are now thin on the ground. The battery is expensive to replace and at that age an unknown entity. The M25...

    Pendleton Charge

It's supposed to do that - IIRC it says so in the manual*. The one LED stays on to show the battery is on/working; you press the button for a second or two to show state of charge. *That's dependant on which version of battery and thus manual you have. There're two types of Pendleton battery...

    Fiido D11 Folding e-bike - A sort of review

I use a larger bungee - see the one in my post #12, last photo - it's only over the trunk bag in that photo because I had a flask and lunch in there; usually it's just in the bag for when I need to fold the frame. It wraps a few times around the main part of the frame, not too fussy exactly...

    250w bafang kit locked down?

With a supposedly what motor exactly. Some say the BBS02 is now an M315 and a HD an M615... except the BBS uses UART to communicate and the M series use CANbus. I don't know for sure, but I don't think the Speeed or PC app works with the newer M/CANbus versions.

3rd Gen Swytch MAX Battery lights

Page 45 doesn't actually say it's showing battery capacity (see clip 12 from P45 below). As others have already said, the LED's indicate battery percentage (that's what the manual actually says): They're measuring/showing voltage. When fully charged, the voltage will be around 41/ 42v, and when...

    Fiido D21

It would be so easy to add a key-lockable seat-post clamp as some other folding bikes do, but Fiido haven't yet. In some ways, to do so would undermine the elaborate key-pad locking system of their X/D31 model. There is a vibration alarm on Alibaba with remote that fits in the controller box...
