I was going to say that..my 3 rides up Winnats were very similar speed wise.( 8mph and 10mph I think) Air drag increases to square of speed so 40% faster will have way more drag...but I,m running fat tyres with 40psi and I weigh 105kg.. ?? Would be interesting for you to do ride on my bike...see...

Was around Lady Bower today, climbed fewer hills than last visit but used more power...lots more headwind.!!! ( Or pedalled harder last time)

I,ve just done 300 miles on Haibike Sduro Hardseven ...Couldn't recommend it high enough. Today been round Lady Bower with 2 additional big climbs .( Lockerdown farm, ) Round trip of 24 miles..still had 24% in battery. Climbs anywhere I could ride it. Might go for full suspension next time...

Just a quick update. Approaching 300 miles , had bike about 4 weeks. Front disc has settled down, must have been contamination. Rear tyre just about worn out, will get another week or two out of it..Thinking about tubeless.Front fine. Don't like presto valves..changing to Schrader. Minor...

??? Afraid I ain't subtle so I must be innocent??. Think we settled discussion quite a while ago, generally hub will climb faster than crank drive on road but will use more current doing so... Reckon Artsu is using a 500w hub motor ??? I was using approx 50wh to do climb, Artsu approx 60 ??

I had a very quick go on Brinco , loved it but nearer a light enduri/ trials bike than a pedelec.. Really impressive tho.. Not really fair to compare with Haibike but I do know what you mean... Its great following tracks in Derbyshire I know full well I,d be arrested for using trials bike on ...

Anybody had yam and Bosch..tried both, could tell difference( just).. The Bosch unit on Raleigh Motus ( borrowed) is not as powerful as Bosch on wife's bike...which apart from starting 180(?) degrees later than my yam is very similar.( mine has much lower bottom 3 gears and slightly higher top)...

Great original post.. I,m just coming up to 300 .miles on pedelec...simply amazed how miles are adding up.. Got similar reaction from a couple of mates...crazy really. Way I look at it, no matter who you are, from Lance Armstrong down to rest of us...everyone can benefit..go higher, go faster...
