the biggest haibike dealer in the uk sells and fits dongles and honors the warranty. i took my bike to a bosch dealer today for a update and run a error check and did not tell them it had a dongle and no errors or problems update done and did not detect the dongle either lol :D

on my bike with that display the range calculator is useless with a dongle lol

giant make there own display and batts but still use the Yamaha motor but the batts health wont increase the more you use it if anything the batt health will go down over time not up as it losses capacity. as long as your getting the expected miles from it id not worry about it as got 2 years...

tbh with wheels that size you are pushing it to the limit as going much faster and you could go in to a speed wobble. but if you get the programme cable you can up the amps with the software if the batt can handle that amount of load non stop.

smaller front chain ring will give you better climbing and a bigger one will give you more top speed. you not got the programming cable ? as at max power that motor can get to 70-80kph if geared for that speed.

could be the bearings in the free hub body are shot or the cassette is way to tight.
