    E-bike towing Audi R8.

Now if the Audi was towing the bike at 180mph, that would be impressive :D

Gearsensor for Bafang Mid Drives BBS-01, BBS02, BBS-HD

Did that one have the extra connector, separate from the brake cut-off system?

I very much doubt that. Naming and shaming is the way to give these people a good kick up the arse ;)

Exactly Rob. Communication is key to customer satisfaction, even if the issue isn't resolved quickly.

Gearsensor for Bafang Mid Drives BBS-01, BBS02, BBS-HD

I thought it might, as it cuts the power in exactly the same way as the brake sensor, quick to cut power, slow to resume. I do believe that some of the later generations of BBSxx's, have a connection to the controller that alleviates those issues.

How are BMS' connected and work when charging?

Can I just confirm, that a BMS will control the charging shut-off in a bank of batteries, that are connected in series as a total, and not individual cells? I.e. in a 13s4p pack, the BMS will be connected to each string of 13s, so 4 physical connections? I just confused myself rereading that...

    Solid tyres?

    Solid tyres?

Haven't used them, but like you, was interested in the idea many years ago. After plenty of research, I decided against it, as air in tyres performs an important role in keeping the tyre in contact with the road. Also, it provides comfort for the rider and helps prevent shock from damaging key...

How to choose between 1000w and 1500w

Some form of warranty, because electric bikes do and will go wrong. If any one of the components in your list goes wrong, you'll have a massive battle trying to claim on the warranty. Even the Halfords bike, once they realise you've fitted a kit. Cyclotricity...

Round nd round... Could someone just post me a link!!

Just to confirm, I haven't personally used that particular BMS! If the controller shown in your listing is rated at 30 amps or less, then I see no reason why it shouldn't be ok. Controllers do overshoot their rated current, which is why I suggest 30 amps. The BMS in the link has a short...

Ok, seems like you're happy with battery positioning and weight. The 30Q's are simply amazing for performance. I don't have any raw figures for the voltage sag, but the battery meter on the display doesn't drop any bars until the pack is at least 3 quarters empty. I can judge, just by the way...

Round nd round... Could someone just post me a link!!

Samsung 30Q's will not heat up believe me. I'm running a 13s4p 12Ah 30Q pack with a 25A controller, and it performs very well indeed. It is capable of providing a continuous 60 amps, so is operating well within limits. 91 25r cells 7p 13s??? That pack will be massive and heavy. Not something I...

That would probably suit a BBSHD far better than the BBS02. The BBS02 is liable to suffer heat related damage and nylon gear breakage, if not kept spinning fast. Be interesting to find out just how much more robust the BBSHD is, compared to the BBS02.
