safe to transport laptop in pannier with rear hub motor right next to it?

The hard drive is normally mounted in a metal (fariday)case. The local low frequency fields from the motor should have no effect on that. It's an un nessisary scare story. Shock, drops and theifs are a more realistic risk.

American Other related units are the skilodge (1 mb, or 10−31 m2), the outhouse (1 μb, or 10−34 m2), and the shed (10−24 b (1 yb), or 10−52 m2), although these are rarely used in practice.[7] Not quite metric although given in metric units !

Colban Most braking is or should be front wheel. So a disk brake on front wheel is recommended. The normal brakes on the rear should be fine.

bbs01, cyclone or none at all?

It's a way of splitting people into those who cycle! Who are interested in the bike and the way you travel and those who want to get someplace and could just as well use a moped. Lycra or SPD,s or jeans and shopping basket? Throttle or T sensor?

bbs01, cyclone or none at all?

Yes I went with a nominal 36v 10 amp or 360watt setup. The good torque sensor systems measure your input and then add a % depending on the controller of between 30 and 300% of your effort. Capped by speed and max power limits. So for every 100 watt you put in the back wheel will get between 130...

bbs01, cyclone or none at all?

It's not truly representative to ask what the zongda is using as peddal effort and bike setup all affect the watts per mile. With a well setup torque sensor system you tend to get higher miles per watt. Even 8 watt per mile is possible. But a throttle powered system running at 20 mph will use 20...

bbs01, cyclone or none at all?

Personally I have had one cheap hub drive and two good crank drive systems. My wife has a good hub drive. It's not just the drive that counts but as a cyclist having torque sensor makes the whole system feel like bionic legs. My cd,s had three power levels 20 years younger, 20 years old and...

2nd Hand Electric bike under £400?

Jowo It's healthy to be suspicious of traffic as there are a few loonies around and a number of careless drivers too. But keep going and your confidence should increase. As well as skill in reading the road and other users.
