    bafang crank drive kits

For the hard of thinking(reflexes) I find the torque sensor perfect. The drive is just like riding a normal bike but with bionic muscles. Having a second control to learn and use would add to my thinking requirement and prevent me sleeping on the bike?

2nd Hand Electric bike under £400?

Trex Looking at your photo. Is it hinged in the middle at the base of the seat post/crank ? I cannot believe that that would do anything but wobble and rock. Sea sick on a bike? It would incidentally reduce pedalling efficiency too?

    It could be a record

I think I'm like you. I go out for a few miles to get a bit of fresh air, and then keep going until the battery's flat. I'm on target for a record breaking January. More details coming on Feb 1st. I've been out everyday this year so far except one, due to an errand I had to run (in my car)...

    want an e-bike without throttle

There are three types of sensor to switch the motor on. A throttle simple and direct control. Is often combined with one of the next two. Pedal sensor basic, turns motor on when pedal moves usually 3 to 5 powerl levels switchable. Basic and let's you rest, but crude control. Pedal sensor torque...

2nd Hand Electric bike under £400?

Hi jowo A folder with a throttle should do the job. Almost any 36volt 10 amp system would have the range. Infact the tesco hopper with its 24 volt system I think it is Pedelec and no throttle? It's worth a look and at £380 new with club card points under budget for the bottom of the range and...

    Seeking clarity on the law

It's fudge wording. In practice it means a manufacture has put a 250w lable on the motor. But there is an official test method ie eu reg 168/2013,uneven reg no 85 if you want to go further.

Convert a Kona Cinder Cone to an electric bike; please help!

If you can't afford the woosh kit then you are going to struggle. Cyclotricity do a cheaper kit but with a smaller battery. The battery is Important and a major part of the bill. If you have an electronics background then there are options but I dont think there is much you can do. All that's...

New bottle battery under the rain... is dead :(

Top photo under the PCM It looks like the Fet has blown. A close up photo of it and it's neighbour should show I'd number and damage? Then it's a test with DVM and some soldering to confirm/replace

    Fast Legal Bike

Where is the line for naughty boys though? A button or easily switched mode is prohibited probably to prevent the I'm legal officer switch. But a significant mod in software or hardware is acceptable. As even a early 24v Panasonic could be moded with a new sprocket to exceed 25kph. So a...
