it's probably Andy who replied to you. We don't sell parts and your project is a one off. We used to sell BPM front hub kits but they are messy: https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?hubkits#frontbpmkit We also keep BPM motors with 3-pin cable, 6-pin cable and 9-pin cable. All in 26" rims. They are for...

    Help! Street Machine GT conversion

I bought the AKM128 kit from bmsbattery a few years back for testing. I played with it for a few hours and it stayed in its carton ever since. I like Aikema products but they are nowhere near bombproof like your old ezee kit. Manufacturers like Aikema and Tongsheng don't discipline their...

I don't think anyone is trying to ridicule anyone on this forum, and certainly not a new member, we want new members to feel welcome! The 2-speed automatic hubgear is not fantastic. I had one of them before. It's novelty for 5 minutes then when you hit a hill, pretty useless*. The thing is there...

I have akm128 and dwg22c 250w. The dwg22c being bigger whines less on steep gradient. I doubt aikema would have rated their 128 motor 800w. Bms battery did.

Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

you are mean first to Tongsheng. What have they done to your company? I have been selling Tongsheng TSDZ2 for the last 4 years, I like their product, I like the company. Guess how I feel when I read your company's sales rep's posts?

you can't unfortunately change the motor on the Gtech. It's a closed system. If you want hub gear, you have to choose front motor or middle motor. Can you fit a kit for her?

For your other half, I would suggest the Woosh Santana: https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?santana3 The Santana has suspension fork so road bumps are not a problem. If she has back problems, she can choose a suspension seat post. The tyres are 26 x 2.0. The bike weighs 20kgs without battery, 24kgs with...

if she struggles with the gears, she should go for a rear hub drive because the hub drive simply flattens the hills. She would choose the gear that suits her pedalling/cadence best and leaves the rest to the motor. She would not have to change gear again.

Welcome to the forum. For you, I suggest the Woosh Faro: https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?faro It's lightweight and the weight is pretty well balanced so you can lift it up by the top tube with one arm like you would with a normal bike to load it onto a bike rack.

The issue of your DM02 is it closely resembles to the TSDZ2. For potential buyers, unless the new product is cheaper or better or both, it's not going to sell. You can't just rely on rumours that tongsheng lost their chief engineer to your firm or tongsheng lost some big customers to win...

Ideas alone are not patentable, you need to have made a working device or application. You can apply for a patent during the development of your working device but you have to demonstrate your device before your patent is granted.

Oh no, 190 miles in and TSDZ2 strange noise

There is a bit of lateral play in the crank due to the design of the TSDZ2. It's because the horizontal movement is limited by 2 simple circlips. It seems bad to any bike mechanic but doesn't get worse. I would ignore it, some add a 1mm shim to make it less annoying. A shim does not eliminate...

Actually, I concur with Flecc's solution. It's the simplest to address both required torque and ease of installation. It's also the cheapest solution considering alternatives. I can build the bpm into a 20in rim for the OP.

Is the sound a click or a squeak? Does it sound metallic or plastic? Is it in step with pedalling?
