Yes Data receiving between controller and display , it's two way thing.

Looks like a cheap amazon type/catologue eapc that uses crappy speed control , buying individual parts is likely not going to happen as incompatibility comes into play. The owner needs to bite the bullet and fork out approx.£80 to buy a new KT contorl kit that will transform the ride.

Error 10 is probably a Data receiving errror code so incompatible.

If the spokes were that loose they compress often at or near the bottom of the rotation as that is where the pressure is applied , where the spokes cross each other they may click as they flex . One has to make sure the wheel remains true when tightening spokes so check the side ways moement...

If the terminal aren't marked +/- then usualy the outer terminal on each side , it matters not which probe goes in which port as all one will see if wrong is reverse polarity - sign show on the meter before the voltage reading. All one has to make sure is that the two probes don't tocuh each...

The Swizzbee is 2006 and still works. I usually build my own bikes so the components all get reused as to the hubs and electric kits , I will get rid of the frame when I want to try another different one or the frame suffers damage.
