LCD Display from Bafung (and the size of it)

Maybe if they made the mounting bracket multi-position, so the owner could decide to fit it under the handlebars. There it would be less prone to damage and allow the bike to be turned upside down for repairs, etc.

    Bosch make a DD hub-motor

Ah right d8veh, i was forgetting about dynamic balance. Of course the c of g depends most on the riders weight and position. Does the value of the parts really outweigh the price of bike? Cheap for 60v 26ah batt, kw+ motor, etc? Honda 50cc scooter is €2500 in Ireland due to VRT, 50% 'vehicle...

How can I tighten pivot bolts on a Woosh Zephyr B and why is it loose in the first place?

Don't know if it will engage securely enough for your bolt but there are ball-headed allen key spanners that can work at an angle. Threadlock on the bolts should stop them loosening again. As the pivot moves, the steel bolt wears thru the alloy, and the nylon washer may need renewing...

    Bosch make a DD hub-motor

Cons Its a motorcycle.. "price includes DVLA Registration fee £55..OLEV motorcycle grant" +insurance +.. Pedalling it with that wide a Q-factor might leave one a bit bow-legged and "foot pegs" appear to foul pedal cranks? Batteries seem mounted unnecessarily high, bad for balance? Only 25 mile...

    Fascism returns to Spain

It was hypocritical of the Madrid gov to say the Catalan leader was "welcome to take part in the regional election", with knives drawn behind their backs. No chance of them getting a fair trial in Spain, so an appeal to the European court on grounds of Madrids demonstrated brutality and...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Be good if one could use the bias in the various media outlets to cancel each other out and discover the underlying truth. If only it was that easy, ha.

Didn't the AI sonar/radar/bathy-whatsit not autopilot them out of shallows?

While Saudi, of all places, recently granted a "female", Hong Kong made robot, "citizenship", the robot took the opportunity to slight Tesla's Elon Musk o_O

Now that sounds more like something about the Brexit negoti-machinations. Let's put a robot on the job, has AI been tried? :-)

And the legal challenge to May's £1bn bribe to the DUP was unsuccessful. Didn't see any condemnation of the judge that time. The malfeasance and incompetence in public office is so blatant, but seems insuperable.

folder ebike with "large" frame feel vs hybrid conversion

Think i read something about hydraulics not being recommended for folders coz they can get airlocked if the handlebars fold with the lever master cylinders upside down ?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

"Passport to Pimlico", a friend has just reminded me of that film. Hehe. :) Quite right Tom, but its still another nascent secession from the EU. Wouldn't obsess about ideology. Maybe "follow the money" reveals more.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Catalans have declared independence from Spain, they'll overtake UK leaving EU and leave it in their wake. (to continue the nautical theme ;)) Will Spain use force or wait them out? Noticed that several banks had already jumped ship, suspiciously quickly? as if they had foreknowledge!

EBMA files an anti dumping complaint on chinese e-bikes.

Yeah, it's not difficult to guess what his nickname was in school! ;) Don't suppose the EU want to look into why Brit made bikes double in price once a vulture fund buys them up, e.g. Brompton & GoCycle. Or maybe I'm unfair & thats just NeoC*apitalism.

    Removing battery when locked up.

Sometimes i just pop a bag for life over the seat and battery, hook handle over a pedal, short bungee other side. Got a cheap cover too, but very fiddly & can blow off if not well bungee'd down. Yeah pity there isn't a self furling seat & batt cover in a saddle bag & move extra rear light(s) to...

    Battery lock

Sounds like a spring loaded 'Latch' bolt with a sloping side 'striker' to allow it to be slid into place, locking without the key, which is only used to remove batt. Am i right? (My Woosh has the opposite problem of batt being Permanently Locked In :-)). Best take your new bike back for an...
