    Video Upload

I don't think you can directly upload your video footage to the forum. As Phill says, you have to upload to a third party website, then post the link. YouTube allows members to view the footage within the forum, but it still gets streamed from your YouTube account.

Ebay seller ' Electric Bike Conversions ' seem to be doing well :)

I don't think you'll have any problems with the 250w kit. If the bike were to be tested by the authorities, then they would be more interested in the assisted cut-off speed of 15.5mph, than the outright grunt of the motor, or whether it has an info sticker on it. No sticker, then they might...

    Exploding handlebars !

That bike device is a bit tame compared to this thing though: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/232777.stm If fitted to a bike, then my suggestion is to locate the flamethrower under the saddle, aimed right up the chocolate starfish :D

    Bafang hydraulic sensor

I wouldn't personally ride without brake sensors. Firstly, due to the fact I use my brake cut-offs when changing gears. My rear mech would have exploded by now, without cutting the power when changing  Secondly, no matter how careful you are to stop pedaling or release the throttle when...

    Bafang hydraulic sensor

Should have a tiny ring magnet in with each sensor. Use the sticky pad on the sensor to attach to your brake's main body, and a small square of something like Mammoth tape, to stick the magnet to the lever. Good idea to wipe the area with some isopropyl alcohol and let it dry before sticking...

more powerful alternative to 750 bafang mid drive?

A Bafang BBS02 48v 25A 750w, combined with a 42T chainring, will in my opinion be perfectly suitable for any hill that you care to throw at it. The hills it can't climb, will be the ones that you will either lose traction first, or have to crawl up on your hands and knees. Factory programmed...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I had an issue with my last helmet, a Casco Sportiv-TC. The fabric band that runs around the circumference of the head, used to just touch the crease of my ears, where the top of the ear joins the head. It would chafe after a few hours riding and made it uncomfortable to wear over long periods...

    Curing a frame battery rattle

I had an annoying rattle when travelling over bumpy ground, which I traced to the battery mounted in the frame. It's this type: The rattle occurs when the battery is mounted on the docking platform and the key is turned in the lock position. Although the protruding locking pin does a good job...

Why the Bafang mid drive has rekindled my passion for pedelecs

Two problems came to light when fitting the kit. Firstly, I had an issue trying to remove the bottom bracket using the splined tool I had bought. One side came off no problem, but the other side was really tight and I feared that I may damage the splines before the thing came off. Therefore I...

    LCD Problem

When a thermos flask kindly decided to spill its contents all over the front seat of a car I owned a few years ago, I bought one of these: Dehumidifier Bag Left the bag thing in the car for a couple of days, and amazingly it absorbed loads of moisture. It actually grew in size with the water...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

It wasn't the crash that made be chuckle, but that awesome soundtrack accompanying the video. What was it that made you lose control? Only watched on phone screen and difficult to see the point of launch :p

Curing a noisy BBSxx final drive

I know a few members over on Endless Sphere, have complained about their BBSxx becoming noisy as the miles pile on. Mine has gradually become noisier over the last few hundred miles, and I decided today to do something about it. The noise was coming from the final drive. It was worse when...
