That's how my motor sits on my 26" that's why I always recommend some sort of fashioned torque arm, a good fitting torque arm can be tricky to find, some bikes (not mine) have allen bolt holes which help when fitting a torque arm.

Sweet Nealh you are the yoda of controllers and all things technical - I think he was trying to give YOSE a chance to help him out, I would have already purchased the 22 amp... hold on a min, was it dual voltage? I might get one:cool:

Yep - bugger I was thinking of getting one 36v @ 17 amps that would be cool - I was going to mention he'll need the sine wave version Shame really - 17 amp julet Sine wave controller ; Rocking horse Sh springs to mind:(

I did try and warn you about chinglish lol the TS09 is similar to the controller I linked for you above however by a quick glance it is dual voltage and like mentioned 22 amp if you do decide on a 22 amp maybe look at C5 in the LCD3 manual, don't forget I have not tried this setting yet but C5=9...

See if you get a response to that first.... Or you could go 15amp its 2 amps less than the YOSE controller and I am nearly 100% sure this one will work (again do your research and don't blame me if it doesn't work) However with it being 15 amp and not 17 amp you will loose some speed, that said...

sounds like some wires or connector from the battery can't handle the amp draw, when I used the yose controller I connected the battery via the dolphin attachment that had two wires rated 20 amps then used a waterproof connector to join that to the julet controller wire and that connector was...

We all have those dizzy days and where is the fun in a pre-built ebike, any how I am glad you have decided to play it safe and try YOSE for another controller, my next purchase is a suspension seatpost I am going for the Suntour NCX hard spring - Have a great bank hol monday!

The YOSE 36v controller is not dual voltage though - I can't find the listing for the elifeshop-2012 Hailong 48v battery with the LG cells

So theoretically speaking - What happens if you had a battery with cells capable of 25 amp continuous discharge with a 20amp BMS and a 22 amp controller then went 25 miles and climbed a really big hill using PAS 5 all the time and did this journey everyday for a year?? - And this question goes...

    Yosepower hub kits.

Hold on a min - what battery are you running 36v or 48V?? I was under the impression you had a 48v - If you do have a 48v battery a 36v controller is WILL NOT WORK you will need from YOSE a 48v controller some after market controllers can do 36V and 48V in one unit HOWEVER some times a chinese...

I wouldn't risk it! 17-18amp would be enough for me anyway

    Yosepower hub kits.

Lol I didn't have much of a clue when I started with my first kit in 2016 and some might say I still don't have a clue.... If you don't no much I will assume you are unaware of advanced level battery safety for this reason IMO 22 amp is not advised you may just kill your battery or worse the...

Steady on there... lets have a good look at the ONE YOU linked, the 2nd picy states "1t5 9pin" this if for the HEAD LIGHT option this has the WRONG connector on it, this will NOT work HOWEVER Zoom in on the pics if you can and compare the connectors to the ones on the YOSE controller you have...

    Yosepower hub kits.

Yep that too I was more worried about their battery and 22 amps, I doubt a YOSE cheap battery would enjoy 22amps in one go let alone in small bursts - assuming they are using a YOSE battery with generic cells! Defo 3 pin I use a 4to1 cable with Red 2 pin for my brake sensors the YOSE 4to1 is no...

Well buzzing - This motor is still working as expected, thank the ebike deities where ever they reside... I have just finished installing a rear hydraulic V brake I managed to get it sold separately from bike-discount.de, I also got a shimano altus 3 speed shifter and some spare braks pads... I...

Might also be worth checking a C parameter - to see if the amps have been LCD restricted, another shot in the dark here but C5 should =10 Also make sure your controller actually states 15a +-1a on the sticky label...
