Are the cranks on the mainframe or swingarm? Older full suspension bikes had the pedals on the swingarm, but they never caught on, as the pedals transmitted feedback as if unsuspended. It needs all contact points of the bike to be on the suspended mainframe.

Yes, but truncated videos can be recovered if need be. Takes a bit more work, but this is the reason i went for the 8gb one, that last 5 minute section is going to happen less often on the 8gb card.

Yep, i'm in Bury and the wind is howling today! Luckily i'm off work all week, normally i work on the 7th floor of a city centre tower and the high wind up there makes the windows wobble.

Got my Casco eMotion today, its really good, looks a lot more durable than my Giro MTB helmet, the thick rigid shell is more like a motorcycle helmet, and the adjustment dial is the best i've used. Also comes with a cool case. Pretty distinctive, so probably not for shy types.

Joan, reading Rosie's similar thread, perhaps a trip to Valley Scooters in Bolton wouldnt be too far for you? They seem to do plenty of brands. Disclaimer: Never been to Valley Scooters and didnt know they existed until yesterday, despite them being less than 7 miles away from my house!

Awesome machine, although it does look like it needs 26" wheels and fatter tyres, the chunky frame and skinny wheels just dont quite suit each other. However. this sort of machine, even at such huge cost, really drives the technology forward. I for one am very pleased to see bikes like this...

A potential minefield then, as I expected. I think the spare 10ah battery at £350 becomes a more attractive option all the time.

My iPhone 4 seems to last long enough for any single ride, but i carry sone of these as a backup: Solar powered charger You can charge it via USB or solar, and its got enough power to charge my iPhone 4 from 0 to 70%, good enough for 5 hours GPS i'd estimate.

Always have a small backup light of some sort with your tools, i consider that essential when riding at night.:) Petzl Zipka headtorch for me, mounts to the handlebars or just about anywhere you like on a self retracting cable.

Perhaps the government should provide us with cameras for our bikes, we can then be mobile CCTV stations, fighting crime wherever we go... well recording it anyway ;)
