Eclipse Bikes Bafang BBS02 48v 750w mysteriously disappears

Yes, same here, more e-mails unanswered than answered. Maybe they're are mega busy with the new stock, who knows, but still very unprofessional in my eyes. A simple 'we will get back to you' can be better than nothing at all. My success rate with them has now dropped to around 25% :( On the...

Hi i have a cyclamatic foldaway bike.

Ask the original owner why he chucked the bike and what symptoms he experienced before chucking it. It sounds like the battery is not supplying enough current, which is why it goes dead when you max the throttle. I am no expert and this is only one possibility. Edit: d8veh has suggested another...

Anyone know what motor this is?

Crikey, Electric Bike Conversions are selling the whole kit on eBay for £375. Includes a battery and swanky looking LCD display too: 500 watt 36 Volt Electric Bike Conversion Kit with 13 AH Lithium Bat.LCD Display I don't know the background behind this, but Allen-Uk must have been furious...

Anyone know what motor this is?

It's the motor that Electric Bike Conversions Ltd sell, or at least it's the picture they have on their website. I thought it was a Crystalyte at first, but after a bit of web searching, realised it wasn't. Thanks for the links.

The BMS of E-bike battery pack with Bluetooth function

Wireless doorbells.... Absolutely brilliant invention... I can move the little receiver into the bedroom, so I don't miss an important parcel. And just for the record, I'm not a lazy git, just work night shifts ;)

The BMS of E-bike battery pack with Bluetooth function

Let's not get picky at the OP here. A buyer of an advanced battery pack like this, will have bought it because they are a bit of a techie. Therefore it's highly likely they own some sort of modern phone or android device. Unfortunately, my Nokia 3310 doesn't have bluetooth :p

Out of stock already... surely not!

Still showing ' Stock levels will be increased in the next few days once back orders have been processed ', on the 36v 500w and 48v 750w kits. One member had ordered one of the new kits, but got a message from Eclipse that the new stock hadn't been programmed correctly. So maybe they're...

    Soldering irons

I bought some lead free stuff accidently a few years ago from Maplin. My experience was that it needed a hotter soldering iron, and longer exposure to heat, for it to flow properly. Even then I couldn't really get it to bond to the wire satisfactorily. Bought a job lot of 60/40, as I heard...

    Soldering irons

I moved away from electric soldering irons and onto the gas powered type. This is what I'm using at the moment: So much handier for soldering on things away from power points, cars etc.. No annoying power cord to get in the way either. Also has two neat little attachments in the case, a mini...
