I'm hearing a few issues over at ES with the 48v 750w version blowing controllers, but nothing yet about the 36v 500w version having problems. It could be as simple as not many people are using the 36v 500w, so less issues to report. ES members don't seem to be using the 48v 750w at max PAS...

Persevere with Eclipse, coz even though stock levels show zero at the moment, they drop it to zero when they are sorting stock out. Send them an e-mail or call, they may still have some left. Em3ev are indeed in China, but Paul, the boss, runs the company very well. I bought a MAC kit from him...

It is a mugs game, unless you are one of the something like .00001% who are professionals making a living out of it. I let my family choose a horse each and put no more than a tenner in total on the race. It's a yearly family fun thing, no more, no less :D

If I remember correctly, the Aurora has a rear rack mounted battery? Why not replace it with one that mounts inside the bike frame. It would improve the handling, balance and weight distribution. You might have to extend the controller power lead a little and solder the connections, but it's...

I put 50p EW bets on ten different horses. Many Clouds and Saint Are came in for me, which netted me.... wait for it...... a whole 20 quid profit. This is the only event I ever bet on in a year, so I'm happy with the outcome. Anyone else have some luck yesterday?

Seems legit. He does have quite a few electric bikes for sale, most with a charger, and the feedback suggests that he's a good seller: Sellers other bikes for sale Shame it's collection only, or I would have had a go for the Focus Jarifa. You never know, you might pick up a bargain if you live...

What type of socket are you using? I found a 14mm of this type felt loose and as if it would round the nut: Then I tried a flat edge type and it felt a lot snugger and less likely to round off the head: Edit: Nealh beat me to it lol :p
