    Installing the GSM

sorry I misunderstood you KirstinS. woosh have replacement internal controllers. You can't easily connect the external controller to a GSM motor already fitted with the internal controller because the motor wires are deep inside the casing.

    Installing the GSM

do you mean the controller that goes into the cradle of the HL battery? that's the Lishui HL1260. I have one on by Giant D5. I don't know if woosh will sell it separately but I think you can get a similar from bmsbattery.com The one on the Bali has 18A rating, no programming socket (the white...

    Installing the GSM

go to the online shop and select GSM CD motor at £175. You need a controller with 9-pin motor lead (with Hall) to run it. Woosh will have the Bali kit on sale next month. The Bali kit has the same GSM motor without internal controller, same battery, same Lishui HL1260 18A controller and same...

    Coyote Connect Folding ebike

the coyote is cheap but has 24V battery, perhaps not suitable for steep hills and bad knees. something like the Woosh Gale is better.

    Installing the GSM

the woosh Bali uses the GSM motor with external Lishui HL1260 controller very successfully. I know woosh are working on a new internal controller for the GSM but I have not seen it yet.

    Leaving the EU

I don't think the Euro can influence the debate either way. The Euro was created in 2001, by then, we have already exited the ERM (1992). The Euro is far from being as bad as the Brexiters make it out to be and our goverment would never want to join because it could not borrow as much as it did...

Folding bike advice for heavy rider

This Kwikfold Pro 16" seems to do it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kwikfold-Aluminium-Electric-Folding-Bicycle/dp/B013KBAKJG%3Fpsc%3D1%26SubscriptionId%3DAKIAJLYL4XVIIFYSIEHA%26tag%3Dcooltshirtd0f-21%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB013KBAKJG it looks a bit...

Folding bike advice for heavy rider

I like the look of the Freego Folder Light but it's not very light nor compact when folded. The common problem with all the 2-fold bikes is when they are folded, their wheels form a V shape, impossible to drag them along or to pick up and carry. The Gallego is the only 3-fold among your...

Folding bike advice for heavy rider

yes, I think the rear wheel is not strong enough. If you buy it, you should ask Woosh to replace the rear rim with a much stronger one like the Brompton 16" double-wall.

    Leaving the EU

I cannot see the point of keeping cash in the pocket or in the house for that matter. It's not any more real money than the money you can access online. I particularly like the way paypal allow you to keep more or less as many currencies as you like, in one account. If only more banks operate...

    Oxydrive kits

you could add a couple of M6 rivnuts to the downtube and have the battery installed in the normal way up.

    Torque sensor v speed sensor

I don't think you can. The only crank drive bike with the power of the Proconnect 10 and with a full throttle is the woosh Krieger.

Confused about the new law on throttles - clarification please

I don't think you will get the bike without VAT. Even though they have throttles, they are not specifically made for the disabled. Perhaps electric handbikes can qualify.

    Leaving the EU

The Turkish PM clearly said 'the EU needs Turkey', so why should they? they win either way. The more people try, the more they can exact money and other concessions from the EU. I think this short term solution is not going to work. Only a new UN convention on migrants and political asylum...

    Leaving the EU

Apparently, Germany have about 600,000 failed asylum seekers - it's no wonder that Merkel wants a quick solution. Most of them crossed from Turkey, so it's easiest to send them back there. About 3,000 people cross from Turkey to Greece every day. I think the new solution will work for a while...

The Great Yorkshire Motorhome Show, Harrogate

but the exhibitors already pay for the comp tickets as part of the booking fees. The people who make money are the show organizers. Traditional shows are very expensive to set up and attend. I really miss Redbridge.
