The display is incompatible with your controller , a firmware issue ? Error 30 is Comms so the display and controller aren't communicating, it may be a case the YL20/controller pairing is annolgue and the YL80 being a digital isn't compatible.

When the power shuts down like that, it indicates obviously no power supply or bad power supply connection. If the battery is 2015 then likely it is very poorly and has aweak bad cell group.

I can pretty much get 8- 10wh out of my riding so can quite easily use 10wh as my guide for range. For my 6ah 12s 2p of HG2's I can eke out 30 miles from 264 wh's, typically though one doesn't get 6ah as one can't ride or discharge at 0.2c.
