How do you deal with a puncture/breakdown when out?

Gaadi's aren't perfect but do make repairing the tube out of the rim so much easier without scrabbling about on the ground. Gaadi's are over long by about 4" , so I simply by pass the ends in the tyre. They still puncture and somtimes if on the harder end can be tricky getting a patch on...

    Pendleton battery query

Battery BMS may be in sleep mode (some have this option) , long press the on/off button for 20/30 secs to see if it works. Other wise consult a user manual , plenty free ones online. According to Halfrauds manual if the battery is in sleep mode , insert the charger and turn on to wake the...

How do you deal with a puncture/breakdown when out?

I have yet to find the need to spread a rear drop out to get a motor wheel in or out, though I find no need to remove a wheel to repair a puncture ( though for some it may be easier but more work involved). I use normal tubes on a non motor wheel and gaadi's on motor wheels.

    Big Cargo bike £2999

Bar the D/D hub it is much a copy of other typical looking bikes and more so like a copy in design of the Surly big dummy or an Xtracycle. Sadly though I would concur the choice of motor is likely to be proved wrong and can't see this going down well in actual use. For cargo bike a decent...

Cheap bike in shop looks good to add kit

Yes a basket or bag mount. I have a similar yellow mount on my gravel bike for a small padded bag, ideal for a compact finepix camera or the like and a few other bits .

    Bafang front wheel

The two parts of the motor connector should have embossed raised arrows to align the correct connection, if you have done as you have said one can only assume the numpties at the shop had little or no idea and shouldn't be messing with things they know nothing about.

    BMS Balancing "optional"

One has to pick the brand as there are many sellers, I think typically the Be Much Safer brand of BMS is one that typically offers the smaller footprint BMS for small batteries where size of BMS is important. If one doesn't mess about with charge voltages and simy charges to the required full...

    Boxer Cargo Trike Pedal Sensor

No one can offer where to go or who might help if we don't know where you live. And yes KT current control any day of the week over a harsher speed control system.

    Battery died

Snapped of balance/sense wire , one can spot weld it back on or if no spot welder carefully solder it back on . Try and avoid heat direcly in the center of the negative cell end, instead place the end to be soldered ( if soldering ) to the side and off center, it matters not if you place it...

    Problem with Proprietary Tech

Proprietary means potential short life and dear repairs once past the pitiful 2 year warranty , leading big bike brands simply adding to the throw away society issue.

Looking for affordable commute hybride ebike

I practically gave up on kit crank drives because of their poor reliability, my bbs 01 both times the controller failed having done far less miles then my hub driven bikes, then there was the GS Moon that failed again twice both controllers failed , with barely 350 miles between them. I opted...

He doesn't like it because no one really agrees with his nonsense and bias views, no account is taken in to other peoples use . He is transfixed with tunnel vision and the views he has. As to spelling errors it is more so because my fingers are quite wide and can press more then on key at a...

Looking for affordable commute hybride ebike

Nice too see other contributers back hub drives as suitable options, when someone has a bias towards only one type of motor without long term esxperience or use of a hub drive over varying terrain for many years of use then the advice is lacking in many ways. Eddie jeffries once prolific with...
