    Wheel ticks intermittently

Doesn't have one it's a schrader valve. Now that the oil has had time to work into the spokes it seems to have settled down a bit. It's still there but it's not nearly as annoying, not sure how to eliminate it completely Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

    Wheel ticks intermittently

When I got my bike a week in it sounded terrible. Found a couple loose spokes on the rear motor wheel, tightened them to match the rest and retrued and it went away. Now it's back so I did the same process but it still won't bugger off, I even lubed the nipples (hehe) and between the spokes a...

Connectors. Will try get a better pic at some point. I suspect yellow + white connector is possibly for a headlight, as for the greyish lone bullet connector haven't a clue what that is Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

    Derestrict Falcon Spark

Ok thanks, so looks like it is unrestricted on the high setting from what i can gather. While I'm here, can anybody figure out what the other free wires are? I already know there is throttle input but what are the other 2? Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

Also I'd say the youe hub motor is probs more than 250w as it handles hills far better than hers and that's where the most battery is sucked out. Ebikes are certainly a grey area it seems Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

    Derestrict Falcon Spark

Yeah I suspected that, when I created the thread I hadn't had the controller out but when I did I noticed those two were unplugged which I had read enough to know these may be the restriction method. My partner now owns a xiong ying ebay special and it seems hers is restricted as mine takes off...

    Derestrict Falcon Spark

Resurrecting this thread, finally had the controller out to play, any ideas? I suspect it might not even be restricted in the first place as it easily hits 20mph on a fresh charge Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

Does this controller take a throttle?

The green red and white? Good point, but cheap enough to try. Are they universal or do i need to look out for the right connector? Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

Does this controller take a throttle?

The PAS delay is bad on this controller, can this take a throttle? Couple pics of the controller and wires attached Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

    Friction drive?

You can get brushed 24v motors very cheap, but it looks like you need to somehow get a sprocket on the wrong side of the wheel somehow. So then I thought why not modify it to friction drive the tyre? Would be an interesting and cost effective project Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

    Water damage imminent?

Only had it out once but don't remember a number. Not in a hurry to take it out again was a struggle to make it fit back into the enclosure. Issue has resolved but will let it dry out to make sure Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

    Water damage imminent?

Hmm, it's stopped happening now. Bike was parked under canopy at work, it gets windy in there, must have dried out a bit. I might just replace the display for an lcd, or would I need a different controller for that? Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

    Water damage imminent?

So the water is definitely in the control unit, not the controller yes? If so unscrew and dry out? Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

    Water damage imminent?

Its not an lcd, its just a simple led with the 3 modes. When I turned the bike on via this panel it worked fine and got me to work. Just find it strange that the lights are flickering before switching on. Its the 3 mode leds that are showing activity, so is it still the panel itself I should be...
