I'm sure the police have got better things to do than chase cyclists. I regularly see people riding on the pavement, riding at night without lights and riding on the road without a helmet, and there's a lot of coppers round here! Although technically, that last one is not illegal. Top tips: 1)...

My usual trawl through eBay threw up this interesting looking folding bike: Folding Bike A tiny bit heavy and not a particularly high capacity battery, but it's neat the way it folds, has a cool looking display and actually looks refreshingly modern IMO. One for Cwah to mod ;)

Thanks for the detailed answer d8veh. NZgeek, if you're feeling brave when you receive your lights, I would be grateful if you could see if it's possible to get to the electronics inside the casing. Please don't break them though :eek:

d8veh, is there any scope with the bang good light for getting into the casing, and importantly electronics, without destroying it? I'd like to fit a small jack socket to the case, so that I can run the light off the jack plug from the CA. Want to make it as professional looking as possible...

As a commuter/utility bike I like it :)

You've got to admit, electric bikes are becoming sexier and more appealing to the general public. Think Nokia 3310 versus Samsung Galaxy S5. My first ever mobile BTW, the 3310 not S5. Can't afford a new phone for this damn ebike hobby :p
