A reminder to use torque arms on kit builds

Cyclezee is now selling an improved version (V2) of his popular and excellent quality torque arms: Cyclezee torque arms extra strong V2 If these are even better than the original torque arms sold, then they are a no brainer safety item to add to your electric bike set up ;)

    Decent 18650 battery brand

Crikey, I've just been on this website: Cloud 9 Vaping and they've got more gadgets than James Bond, or any dedicated Pedelec's forum member.

    Rain poncho suitability?

Sounds a bit iffy, especially riding in high winds. Might just wear waterproofs and try to protect the Cycle Analyst, throttle and battery from rain. Would be grateful for any professional solutions. I.e. not just a plastic bag ;) Edit: Actually, have just had a good look at those key points...

    Decent 18650 battery brand

I'm gonna buy a cree headlight that utilizes an 18650 battery. Have heard that the Ultrafire brand is poor quality, possibly liable to catching fire  Maybe cheap, poor quality fakes, I don't really know for sure and I can't verify the truth about the fires. I'd rather splash out a little...

Electric bike road safety & security

I'll be honest, anyone listening to earphones or headphones whilst riding is totally bonkers. Road awareness is much more than just using one's eyeballs to see the traffic and hazards. I think we'll all agree that every sense is utilized for cycling road safety. Even down to sniffing out muck...

    Rain poncho suitability?

I'm considering commuting to work, but want to be fully prepared for any bad weather, namely rain. Two concerns would need to be covered (bad pun), myself and the electrics. I've been looking at one of these: Bike Poncho It would be ideal to protect my frame mounted battery, plus it goes over...

    When ebikers go bad

If I ever decide to mod a bike resulting in this, then you have permission to shoot me: California, June 26 — Santa Cruz handyman Geoff Bjorgan converted a 1986 Honda motorcycle into an electric, pedal-assist bike.

Anyone has experience with Cargo Bikes?

Looks like there's a few of those Velo Electrique cargo bikes on eBay too. Really cool looking and I love the weatherproof canopies, which is a must for the British weather: Velo Electrique Cargo Bikes

Do you do your own car servicing?

One time, I did use old chip fat from my local chippy in the fuel tank, but the smell made me so hungry, I had to stop off at every burger van on trips. Needless to say, it didn't save me any money :p

Do you do your own car servicing?

Don't think they can get much info from a vehicle registration number, which is all Euro Car Parts ask for. It's more to tailor the shopper's experience, so that they are not scrolling through tons of items to get to what they are looking for. Anyway, the reason for this thread was to spread...

Do you do your own car servicing?

Just out of interest, why would you want to buy oil if you don't have a vehicle to put it in?

Do you do your own car servicing?

For those of you still traveling around in those wallet emptying machines called a car, and do your own servicing, then this might interest you. Euro Car Parts have a deal at the moment on selected oils. I personally have always used the Castrol Magnatec in my Nissan. It's turbocharged, so...

    A2B Metro on eBay

The wheels are small, but look fairly chunky. Anyone experienced one of these over potholed roads? I am tempted to ditch the car and commute. I don't ride my current bike in wet weather due to the torque, so are the A2B's weather resistant?

    A2B Metro on eBay

I've always liked the design of the A2B range of bikes. A little quirky looking, but if I ever needed a city commuter, then would be on my wish list. There's one on eBay at the mo, if anyone's interested: A2B Metro Electric Bike
