Frank, when you say cut down, do you mean file the hole to get a tight fit, or cut the plates edging to look aestetically pleasing?

I did e-mail LSDZS many moons ago and asked about their controllers. They said the Cyclamatic one is just an older version of their current LSW70A Micro Controller. It will run on 24v/36v and 48v. Surely the BMS in a higher voltage battery would cut power at the threshold for battery protection?

If yer on about using a 36v battery on one of your Cyclamatics, the controller can handle 24v/36v and 48v. Manufacturer LSDZS. Might be worth trying it out with 36v, as i'm sure the hub motor can handle the increased voltage ;)

Ok, glue both the leads that are supplied with the charger to the charger. Write a note on the charger 'ONLY TO BE USED FOR CHARGING BIKE BATTERY' Wrap the charger in fire-proof, non explosive military grade kevlar shielding. A few post it notes on the fridge to remind you about the dangers...

The solution would be to use a little bit of super glue to permanently glue the mains lead plug into the charger socket. Then it would be just the same as a charger with a permanently attached mains lead. " simples " :)

I'm not trying to upset the speed police here, but seeing as the Bighit uses a normal rear wheel/cogset, would the following be true? If the highest gear on the cogset was exchanged for a smaller one, would that theoretically :rolleyes: raise the top speed of the bike on the road?
