I had exactly the same problem as you, but I would not advise filing the drop-outs. I used 2 of Cyclezee's torque arms, one on each side. I'm running a peak torque of 68N-m, and have had absolutely no problem. The torque arms are the dog's danglies :D

That's what I thought, which is why I decided to throw it to the forum first. Any suggestions where I can buy a tool that would fit?

I read in an earlier post, that the freewheel removal tool to buy is the Cyclepro CPT203, as it fits over a 14mm axle. Can someone who has used this, confirm that it does indeed fit, please. If not, can someone suggest a tool and possibly a link, to where I can buy one that does...

So primarily, I should aim to position the controller within the bag, so that it has as much air space around the FET side of the casing? Surely, bike controllers have been designed to operate in environments where there is little air flow, otherwise they would have large fin heatsinks attached...

I intend to run a fairly powerful controller inside a bag. This poses the problem of no air flow, and little air space around the controller. Would attaching a large heat sink, with a thermal adhesive pad to the top of the casing, provide a viable passive solution to dissipating heat...
