What is the king of half twist throttles?

I've got a half twist throttle fitted to my bike, which came with the kit I bought. Unfortunately, It has an integrated speed switch and push button, of which I have absolutely no use for. These additions make it bulky and aestetically not very pleasing. Therefore, I am after the best...

    Another dealer..........another waste of time!

So the company should have weeded out that idiot at the selection/interview stage. Which means HR or management will have to share the blame for doing such a shoddy job. Either way, name and shame ;) Could be worse, Halfords got named recently by consumer watchdog, Which, as the worst store...

    Rear motor problem

I had exactly the same problem as you, but I would not advise filing the drop-outs. I used 2 of Cyclezee's torque arms, one on each side. I'm running a peak torque of 68N-m, and have had absolutely no problem. The torque arms are the dog's danglies :D

BH emotion Neo Cross - has anyone tried one?

Don't worry Lynda, my comment was not aimed at any individual in particular. It's a sad matter of fact, that threads are increasingly degenerating into nothing more than faceless pub brawls. d8veh told me some of his reasons for not contributing any more, and I am beginning to see his points...

Removing a gear from the clutch assembly without damage???

Thank you for everyone's replies. I've already got a pair of circlip pliers on order, as I remember needing one when I tried to remove the cog from my Cyclamatic clutch mechanism (picture) Unfortunately, the cog didn't just pull off,and I'm certainly no weakling. In the end, no amount of...

    Freewheel removal tool???

I read in an earlier post, that the freewheel removal tool to buy is the Cyclepro CPT203, as it fits over a 14mm axle. Can someone who has used this, confirm that it does indeed fit, please. If not, can someone suggest a tool and possibly a link, to where I can buy one that does...

What Torque For Motor Shaft Nuts ?

Obviously, it depends on how strong you are, but could someone apply shearing forces on the nut and shaft, if an 8" open ended spanner is used? Are we talking shearing forces only when someone stands on the spanner, or uses an excessively long spanner? I just grab the top of the frame and pull...

Heat sinking a controller for passive temperature reduction?

So primarily, I should aim to position the controller within the bag, so that it has as much air space around the FET side of the casing? Surely, bike controllers have been designed to operate in environments where there is little air flow, otherwise they would have large fin heatsinks attached...

Heat sinking a controller for passive temperature reduction?

I intend to run a fairly powerful controller inside a bag. This poses the problem of no air flow, and little air space around the controller. Would attaching a large heat sink, with a thermal adhesive pad to the top of the casing, provide a viable passive solution to dissipating heat...
