    Removing rear gear cogs?

Can only find this type: Super B Multi Freewheel Remover Shimano SRAM Sunrace | eBay My rear wheel is the quick release type. Does it really matter that the tool in the link doesn't have the spike mentioned by Mike? Will it do the job?

    Removing rear gear cogs?

Before I go ahead and buy the wrong tool for doing this job, could someone advise me what to buy please. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=3368&d=1333108527&thumb=1&stc=1 It's looks like the end knurled bit screws on, as it has an arrow pointing clockwise on it...

    12v LED voltage tolerance?

Thanks for all the answers. Just wondered, do LED's have a higher tolerance to voltage variation than filament bulbs?

    12v LED voltage tolerance?

I was originally going to wire an LED in with the battery switch, just to warn me when the system's on. After a bit of research, I'm going to fit a Cycle Analyst. This will kill two birds with one stone, acting as an indicator of the bike being on, plus a speedo function along with a host of...

    12v LED voltage tolerance?

I know that normal filament bulbs have a small tolerance for increasing the rated voltage, and usually blow fairly quickly. But what tolerance do LED's have? Can I run a 12v rated LED on 48v? If not, what is the most efficient way of reducing 48v to 12v to power an LED?

Fault with the assist on a Cyclamatic PP

I removed mine coz I found it erratic, so sorry no piccy, but I can confirm that NRG's piccy is very similar. Yours is kaput I'm afraid. Give SportsHQ a call to see if they can supply a spare part. Connecting the new one to the controller is very easy to do, and only requires removal of...

Help me find a suitable power switch please

It is my understanding that circuit breakers don't trip as soon as the rated amps are hit, but require a prolonged period of time over the rated amperage. If I were to use one of these, would I match it to the rating of the controller? Would it be likely to trip if the controller peaked...

Help me find a suitable power switch please

I did see the marine isolator switch on eBay, but figured it looked a bit bulky. After seeing the same product in your link, it states that it can be recess mounted, so that might be the one to go for. I plan to mount the controller and switch on the underside of a seat post rack. Recessing...

Help me find a suitable power switch please

Can anyone point me to a shop, where I can buy the following DC power switch please. Use: Inline switch from battery to controller. Must be able to handle 48v DC with a current flow of 30A. Would prefer a rocker switch, but can be toggle or twisty knob, and with a fairly small footprint...

    Rack 4 Cyclamtic

Be careful when selecting a rear rack for the Cyclamatic. The frame fixing points where the axle is, are wider than your regular bike. Plus, there are no frame fixing points where the seat post is. I bought this one: Trans-X Adjustable Silver Alloy Pannier Rack RRP £24.95 | eBay and...

DOGS - The Bane of my Life

Attach one of these to the front of your bike: http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=3325&d=1332505475&thumb=1&stc=1 It's brightly coloured, so the dog should see you and move out of the way. Also, it has the added benefit of being lithium ion powered, so you can...
