Are you saying that if the bike is stationary and you apply pressure on the pedal, as if just about to set off, the motor whirrs as if running but the motor drive is not being transferred to the chain? I like either the Aldi or Lidl track pump which retails for about a fiver. You simply connect the pump to the inner tube valve, move the pump handle up and down and the tyre pressure increases. Brilliant! What else could you possibly want from a pump?

Yes James, it was a straight swap. The motor has three connector plugs, one of which I think is for the walk along throttle, the other two plug straight into the bike loom and all wire colours match up perfectly. I was slightly worried about the handlebar controller, but it to works perfectly...
