I use to use annpower on aliexpress and can't say I ever had a problem.
The recently as I switched to 12s set up I found small footprint lion 12s BMS not easily available. The daly looked ok and small size but then I had two failures coincidently after reading about issue with them on ES...

No mention of 750w motors.
How do you propose to spot weld the cells ?
How do you propose to monitor hvc /lvc and balance during charging and discharging ?
On second thoughts does the Transx use CAN type comms/handshaking ?
I use 36h 700c x 19mm rims and go only with 2x lacing otherwise the nipple angle entry is too great . Ryde z2000 blue rims from Bankrupt Bike parts not Practical cycles.
If using a large hub motor like BPM or CST then a 1x lacing may be better, it all depends on the nipple entry angle. It...

I'm an advocate for hub drives simply because of there simplicity and reliability, I have yet not had any hub motor fail me but have had a kit mid drive fail me twice .
Most simply post regarding mid drive this or that brand because that is what they ride , but they don't convey where or what...
Lilliput now has a few options for up to her £2k budget.
As SW mentions the shimano & Bosch options are or might be an issue after 2 years when warranty runs out, then you are left with expensive repair options should a fault occur. One can mitigate that by selling the bike every 18months or so...
I use 14g s/s sapim strongs and generic rims from practical cycles , typically 20 quid a pair. I build my own wheels and apart from the first one or two many years ago have no issues with broken spokes.
If you get your rim and motor to ryanbuilds wheels he will do the job for you.
You are forgetting Darren @BEB will fit the kit and make a neat job , it might look dear but if one lacks skills to do the job then get it done proper. Plus with Darren there is no dodgy warranty or issues with language issues.
Have a look at the Wisper wafarer models , one wil be guaranteed quality service as David the CEO posts on the forum and tries to go the extra mile , also he can certify your bike to have a legal throttle if you need one.
The only big case that went to court/trial was the guy who hit a pedestrian in Dalston , London. The case wasn't based on his illegal bike which wasn't contested, but a manslaughter charge which was proven not guilty.
Tbh if anything bikes likely just get confiscated and maybe the odd person...
7 y/o batteries are of scrap value thye can fail at any time, £500 the pair at the most .
Tbh look elsewhere and decline the them as they are over priced., George Henry of yhis forum ought and oxygen of 2011 vintage for £100 and he was very lucky that he is still running the original battery.
At the time it was assumed the AKM MD P250 was a TS motor but it may have also just been a cadence motor like the BBS.
One can only assume the AKM wasn't succesful as in 2019 the company acquired Suzhou Tongsheng Electric .
For anyone with any doubts the following link is from the parent company of Tongsheng Suzhou producer or supplier of TSDZ2/2b .
https://www.aikema.com.cn/en/list-0-43.html
There is no reference at all now to the earlier MD- P250 TS mid motor that was around in early 2019.
Looks like a BBS copy but don't think it is .
It isn't a current AKM mid drive because AKM/Aikema Suzhou are the parent company of Tongsheng Suzhou and any AKM motor now is the same as a Tongsheng.
It may though be a copy of an earlier Aikema TS drive motor from 2019.
