    Need help with drop outs

Bicycle drops outs are shaped diferently on the seat area and not the same match for a hub motor axle, typically one has to carefully file or use a dremmel type tool to remove some material from the drop outs. Although your picture isn't very clear /sharp one can see the space /gap on the seat...

Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

One expects any OSF developement will come via the German or other Eu forums and esp the Endless Sphere forum in the US . They completely remapped the software for the TSDZ2 and now the OSF is used world wide by many users.

Has anyone heard of or tried Toseven mid drive?

Welcome and thank you for the information on this Alex. Outwardly then that is why the design looks very similar . We will have to wait for real world testing to see how good it is.

Suntour HESC Hub Motor Bearing Change

If the motor is working fine with a cheap controller and then doesn't when put back together then one would suspect the internal clutch mechanism is not releasing. Not sure how such a mechnism works on a suntour but on my old BPM it was a simple 3 point spring and bearing affair .

Hub motor question...how does this come apart?

One might wan't to use a longer m5 or m6 screw thread bolt so all of the tapped tread can take the strain also a little hot air heat warming around the joint may help.

    Schaeffler's chain-free e-bike system now in production

Kirstin uses a Sussex shaft drive on his commute e-bike and has done so now for several years , as he said an enclosed drive that doesn't suffer from chain rust or the attacks of the salty sea air he is exposed to. An ideal clean drive set up.

Hub motor question...how does this come apart?

The three screws removed are to hold the clutch mechanism in situ, they have nothing to do with opening the motor (well almost). In pic #3 that fine line that can be seen is actually a threaded joint and one has to unscrew the faceplate a/c/w. Replace all three clutch screws for now. This is...

Two FD motors means twice the rim wear rate so one will end up replacing rims as well.

If he default setting is " run - F" and it still works backwards, try " run - b " to see if it works correctly. Otherwise rotate/reverse the disc magnet face as the poles are sending the wrong signal.

    suitable wing mirrors

They give a pretty good undistorted view of whats behind and not like some inferior views where a vehicle looks far way but is actually on top of you. I find adjusting them occasionally when cars are behind they can see the mirror and are more consious they have been noticed , more then often...

The tale of a £100 second hand electric bike.

That good to hear 'Super sub rides again'. David like his name sake is dependable. I seem to remember every time super sub came on, he always scored and is one of the greats of that era.

As this is a pedelec forum (clue is in the title) then best to ask on a uk forum for illegal e-scooters. Whether or not batteries are discusssed on here we try to have very little to do with illegal e scooters except to despise them and the twerps who use them endangering others.
