DIY Ebike 14.4kg inc 10aH 37v battery Full Suspension

That seems really nice. Why they never sell bike with such specs online, if it's possible? And what was the total cost of your bike?

Is BEBA doing a good job for the e-bike industry?

Guys, I understand the problem with the regulation and the nice status of the electric bikes, but saying that people that wish faster bikes are minorities depend on... who your target audience is. - if you're aiming only for grey generation people, that's true. - but if you're targeting...

    Commuting with kid e-scooter

In my previous post, I'm saying 25k/h is DANGEROUS on the road. It's dangerous because it's too slow. But if I can use this e-scooter on the sidewalk (as this is for kid), that's fine. I'm just looking for an easy way to commute with all the hassle that include. Moped are difficult to park...

Is BEBA doing a good job for the e-bike industry?

I didn't mean to transform it to motor vehicle. Just to adjust the speed limitation to make it safer on the road. 25km/h max speed make it too dangerous. If we have a limitation of 35km/h like in US/Canada, road would be way more safe.

Why do people think 25km/h speed limitation is safe?

My point is that it is dangerous to cycle slowly. And 25km/h restriction would be fine if I wouldn't always have cars/bus trying to pass over me everytime.. I think the speed is a little bit too restrictive and made it dangerous. A speed limitation of 32km/h like in Canada/US wouldn't hurt and...

    Commuting with kid e-scooter

I've maybe found a way to commute with an e-scooter: - It only weigth 10kg - It's really small and can be put in a bag - It reaches 20km/h during 20 km - I can use it on sidewalk. - It's amazingly cheap (less than £100 and I won't be bothered to get it stolen) NEW Lextek 120w Black Foldable...

Why do people think 25km/h speed limitation is safe?

I'm sorry but I completely disagree with the 25km/h speed limitation on bike. I'm for now riding a non electric bike (sent back my slow one) and have an average speed of 15-20km/h. And I feel it's really dangerous on the road because I'm way too slow compared to the cars surrounding me. Today...

Kudos Cheetah - some tweaking required

Yeah I think both are good. I suppose the Dahon would be the bike you could take with you on public transport (tube, bus) and for commuting. And Kudos would be used rather for fun ride (mountain, off road...)

Controller missing - Increase bike speed

The problem is that this is literally my first bike AND first electric bike. I have no knowledge whatsoever and if ever I break something I won't get refunded for sure. Now I can send it back (for £40) and buy another bike with relevant customer service.

    You vs the average cyclist

Actually, for all of you, you are able to maintain the same speed as the electric bike. The only difference is the "sweating" and "tiresomeness" factor?

    You vs the average cyclist

Hello there, Since I was peddling with my 13km/h electric bike and seen that all cyclists were faster than me... it makes me realize that the average cyclist should be able to maintain at least 25km/h on average on the road. So, my though is that you, with your (regulated and in law) electric...

Controller missing - Increase bike speed

Also, for the 5 connectors wires, it seems that it's plugged via a plastic cap so they should not be able to make error I suppose?

Controller missing - Increase bike speed

Thanks for the answer Saneagle. I can check again the wires, but I'd rather not cut or change anything on the bike by myself. (or I'll never get refunded if anything get wrong)

Controller missing - Increase bike speed

Hello Frank, It's a bit complicated for me and I'm not sure I'll have any positive result. Also, I'm not ready to pay to fix a bike I purchased few days ago. I'm contacting the seller to see if the manufacturer has any idea to make it go faster, otherwise I'll have to go through Paypal to get...
