All in One hub kit from South Korea

I did not say that any of these kits are. Those brands are very well known. What I said is none of them will be a big seller. You can pop in the average European e-bike shop where you'll find maybe 100-150 models to choose from, then ask to test ride a Neodrives or a Zehus. I reckon they will...

Enough Power for a Pensioner on Steep Hills

his Raleigh has the worst possible combination for a steep hill: torque sensor + hub motor. He can probably gets up to the top of Winsley Hill on the Santana but at 90kg his own weight, I think he would be better off with a BBS01 48V crank drive kit. The bikes you have tried have a torque sensor,. It's hard to go up a steep hill with bikes that have a torque sensor. You need a bike with cadence sensor which lets you pedal as much (or as little) as you like. A throttle will also help you start on steep hill and get more from the motor.

All in One hub kit from South Korea

those so called premium kits are more toys than workhorses, that's why none of them will evolve into a big seller. They tend to concentrate their effort into convincing their customers that they must not have any cables. The rest of the stuff comes probably from the Far East anyway.
