At this moment, I think we could understand (if not excuse), some unevenness on the basis of starting up a new system. But it should be reported and issues addressed as of Monday. (I note Tesco has offered help in distribution. No idea of the financial aspects.)

In an attempt to avoid the accusation of only seeing there could be an issue in hindsight, I'll put forward a concern which should already have been addressed. But we shall see... When the wonderful AstraZenica vaccine, developed by the dedicated AstraZenica staff, and approved by the fantastic...

Not bad at all. We might have hoped that would have been in “I want to be an MP.” course 101 - to use an Americanism.

What is very difficult to judge is how fantastic the government job has been. Yes to the AZ people. Probably to the MHRA. Dunno to gov. But, given we have seen projected targets for vaccine delivery for quite some time, it seems a bit poor that things like required extra training for returnee...

He should take his feelings out of the equation. He repeatedly says things like "I deeply regret...", "I hate to ...", etc., always putting his own feelings at the very start of the sentence, the response, the speech. Might not be so bad if he tacked that on as a minor afterthought to let us...

I guess you thought no-one could read the link I included in the hope everyone would be able to see where it came from. Plenty of other sources. If you wish to criticise the analysis, point at Focaldata...

What a selfish way of putting it! Johnson says he is 'reconciled' to prospect of tighter restrictions soon Marr asks if there may be a tier 5 set of restrictions in the near future. Johnson says that he still expects things to be better by Spring but says: “It may be that we need to do things...

I managed to use the slider thingy to get to the train - quite quickly - so missed everything else. Click is incredibly annoying. If it is something interesting it deserves more than the few seconds it gets. If it isn't, why does anyone bother?

Just did a search to find out more, but found myself on a site which sounds like a joke title on HIGNFY. Wildfire Today! Seems someone is telling porkies - the USA has at least one and looks like they have or had several over the years. Or was it the only country in Europe? The site is not...

In many ways I agree. But what is really bad is that they have not properly explained ahead of time what was going to happen. Some of the official documents say VAT will be collected on ordering, but completely fail to explain what will happen re overseas sellers. E.g. Aliexpress.

If our treatment of those with Covid-10 has improved to the extent that few die who do not have significant factors such as age and obesity working against them, that is a good thing. But the patient-days in hospital could be huge in order to achieve that. So many of us have got used to...

Agreed. The rate of Long Covid could be frighteningly high. Whilst some dismiss it - saying things like we have always have post-viral issues - I am repeatedly reminded of Awakenings. Indeed, some who seem to dismiss it go on to explain that people have forever been going to their doctors with...

A few years ago, selling downloadable products (e.g. designs) on eBay was easy enough for very small "hobby" traders. And very similar to selling small amounts of physical products. Then there was an EU-wide move to change VAT handling. The situation was that someone in the UK would claim to be...
