Do you know how to ride the electric unicycle?

Yes, I did wonder which pdarnett wanted a go on.

Do you know how to ride the electric unicycle?

I may be wrong but I don't think so. I doubt anyone would do anything about it in a park unless someone reported their concerns though, and then you'd be asked to kindly take it and your hook away. On a pavement I think a plod would pull you over on sight.

Yes that was what I had in mind.

    Price Rises on the way

I've been expecting European made e bikes to fall in price along with the Euro. Some material costs might rise but that should be outweighed by the Euro fall against Stirling. Never underestimate the capacity of business to lever up prices though. Rather like when the wholesale cost of gas...

    Say hello !

Don't know. But a computer program pretending to be a person would probably go on to waffle at this point...

    Fast Legal Bike

30 kmh would be nicer as a legal cut out it's true. When I had a Woosh it was easy to change the cut out and I put it at that because at 25 kph it was like hitting a wall. But we have what we have and it's no use kicking again the pricks. The Kalkhoff I have now cuts out very smoothly at a bit...

Shetland woman looking to find my perfect Ebike, Need Help Please!

Of course she could put on a front basket and paint some designs on the frame and panniers of any bike if that's what she likes. I reckon the BB step through is pretty close to a Dutch style bike in looks as it is and a basket and panniers would complete the job. The other thing about Dutch...

Shetland woman looking to find my perfect Ebike, Need Help Please!

By the time you have paid for the donor bike and a BPM kit you'd probably find the Big Bear or similar about the same price. You have a warranty and back up with that too, and only have to put the pedals on and straighten and tighten the handlebars. Kits are perhaps better for the more...

    Fast Legal Bike

It's actually more like using an unregistered kit car or track car on the road without insurance. Not just going a little over the speed limit. As so many have said you would probably get away with it until you had an accident and the police were involved. Even if you were completely innocent of...

    Kalkhoff battery question

Yes, mine is the same. Just a plain black one without the stickers. No idea why that isn't on the Impulse 11 manual, maybe it just got left off by mistake. As I said I don't think there is any difference between the batteries. But ask them if you're still not sure. I ran the bike to shut down...

    When to scrap an e-bike?

If you really want to dump it just leave it outside with a note saying: Free to any takers. Not working and needs attention. I've got rid of old working fridges and TVs that way. In that case I put working on the note of course otherwise they would just be for dumping.

    Kalkhoff battery question

Yes that's the reason they give to do it. To reset the battery parameters and they say prevent the battery losing charge unexpectedly by the LEDs getting out of kilter with the actual charge level, so misleading the rider. The battery is never completely flattened by riding it until it stops...

    Kalkhoff battery question

Why not ask 50 Cycles if this new battery needs it? I don't think the batteries have changed at all on the Impulse 11 so any change in the service manual might be sales led. I have the same bike as you and I also had a new battery from 50 Cycles just before Christmas. I also live in a hilly area...

    Fast Legal Bike

Pretty useless not having lights on a motorbike nowadays. Apart from getting caught out in bad visibility most bikers with any sense keep the lights on all the time. I had a street scrambler as they were known well over forty years ago and I used the no lights MOT exemption. It was a Greeves...

    Battery care

Lots of different opinions on storage temperatures. Most dealers including Woosh tell you to keep it indoors at room temperature or a little bit lower and not allow it to stay out in the cold. Other people here say different...You should charge it every six weeks or so and not let it go flat.

    Fast Legal Bike

I expect they mean meeting a member of the public as in selling to them or something similar. I doubt trade people would count as members of the public for that purpose.

    Fast Legal Bike

I might be because of the current ambiguity in the law. When that is finally ratified this year and everyone is clear what a legal e bike is that might well change.

    Fast Legal Bike

Personally I'd rather have an s pedelec than this any day if it was legal here. A legal electric motor bike or scooter would also be good in towns but this is neither one thing or the other.
