    Brexit, for once some facts.

Nothing compared to Joe Biden's entourage, who will be driven in a motorcade of limos flown over from the States on a fleet of transport aeroplanes. .

That would be best of all of course, but it won't happen. The providers are fighting to keep it as a market and the government doesn't want to pick up the bill. However I'm sure they will bail out my supplier Bulb, since being the number six in the market it's too big for any of the other...

No, we've had a low death rate for much of this year and our hospital is coping ok. .

Agreed, but the government is preparing to step in if necessary. I just wish the government would increase the price cap to allow companies to survive, instead of faffing about for several months yet. .

Bulb is my supplier but they are trying hard to stay afloat. They are an international supply company much bigger (1.7 million customers) then most who have gone broke so far, so I'm hoping they survive. .

Not necessarily a problem. Here's the latest for what you think is my mythical location: Testing positive rate per 100,000: National 477.1 My Postcode 193.7 Death rate per 100,000: National 1.3 My Postcode 0.3

    Cyclist invisible to Tesla Autopilot

The problem is that the governments and even safety organisations have been attracted by the notion that technology without the failings of humans will be intrinsically safer. No more drunk driving, speeding, road rage etc. That theory is very far from being realised though at present...

    Cyclist invisible to Tesla Autopilot

I didn't think it would be, it's mostly the older Leafs which are far cheaper to buy second hand that become taxis. There's a huge difference between £30k and £8k! .

    Cyclist invisible to Tesla Autopilot

Autopilot is only on the top models of the latest style Nissan Leafs like this one: It is fitted on some of the Nissan Qashqai models which are crossovers somewhat SUV styled. .

    Cyclist invisible to Tesla Autopilot

My Nissan Leaf has Autopilot with the same sort of faults, occasionally diving at the kerb and regularly panicking for me to take over. I wouldn't let it anywhere near cyclists. Pluses and minuses though, it woudn't have made that level crossing mistake of dangerously speeding right up to it...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yes you are picking on isolated examples, that is one again, back in August! It's the 26th October, so you are clearly looking for examples. The undeniable fact is that in South Croydon we are doing far better with Covid on a very low vaccination rate than the North of England areas are with...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Oh dear, Save the NHS! I never fell for that political excuse. The Swedes are at least as proud and protective of their welfare state and health service as we are, but they didn't shut all those places down. So furlough was proven by them not to be the only way to keep business going, all it...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I couldn't disagree more strongly, that was the worst spend of all. Have you already forgotten what happened? Instead of being at work, as in Sweden, where their employers could have instituted safe regimes or in many cases where their employment was naturally Covid safe, they were at home...

So what, a very high proportion of them would have died about then anyway from the conditions they already have, most notably with old age in addition. I've already covered this in detail with all the numbers over a decade, the expected average annual deaths have accounted for much of the Covid...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Exactly as I've said, London's low vaccination rates with very good outcomes. Again you pick out an isolated example of something that has been going slightly up and down like a yo yo all year. Except SOUTH CROYDON is where I live and what you conveniently ignore despite all my explanations...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

That is the hysteria that has really cost us so dear in every way, the risk of suffering to any real degree from it is very low. Remember my continuous advocacy of the Swedish relaxed voluntary approach? They didn't throw away a pro rata £50 billions to shut businesses, to pay people to stay...

Indeed, if we didn't get it over with at the outset as I always advocated But the threat doesn't exist in reality, without any vaccines last year the Nightingale Hospitals were not needed and have been dismantled. The existing hospitals coped with a struggle, but every business has periods...
