    Mosso 29er 750w BBs02 first impressions

Chinese companies are starting to make 2900mAH cells - d8veh may have found out who's making what at the Shanghai show, I expect to see about 55g for the early Chinese 2900mAH cells - the price of using SDI 2900mAH on a 48V 11.6AH is about $70 more than Chinese equivalent, that's as much as I...

    Mosso 29er 750w BBs02 first impressions

The high speed can only come with 120RPM by a 48V BBS01. simple way to figure this out what's inside the battery is by weight. If fitted with Samsung 2900mAH then 13 * 4 * 49g + 500g for the pastic casing = 3048g. Anything heavier is built with Chinese 2900mAH cells.

    Mosso 29er 750w BBs02 first impressions

I don't doubt the quality of Mosso bikes, Mosso frames are freely available in the same way that you can build yourself an e-bike here with a KTM frame and a 750W BBS01 for about the same sort of money. It's the guy who puts the bike together and sells it on ebay. Haibike tuck the motor above...

Too many options in my mind, but... any good?

you have to climb 3 hills every day, so it's the most important criterion to consider. Two things that make a good hill climber: a big motor and a big battery. The rest is less important. The Sirocco 2 battery has the biggest capacity that you can afford with your budget. It's 36V 15AH, that...

    Just bought not working bike

have you got a digital multimeter? step 1: take the battery out of the bike. Try the switch until you read a voltage across the battery pins at the battery output port. step 2: assuming you have a voltage, that proves there is some life in the battery. Now you need to re-install the battery and...

    Just bought not working bike

Below the battery is the box housing the controller. You need to remove the battery to take a look inside the controller box. The switch turns the battery on/off - there is a red dangling wire in the picture, you'll need to find out where it's going.

Too many options in my mind, but... any good?

don't buy a sport bike for commuting. You need mudguards, and rack. These things spoil the look of a sport bike and cost extra money.

there is only one powacycle that fits your budget, the £520 Milan 2 LPX: 180W motor, 36V 8AH SLA battery that weighs a ton, V brakes front and rear. You are better off with the Woosh Sirocco 2.

    Legallity

suppliers should cancel the throttle signal and force the users to input gradually more energy when riding above 15mph for safety as much as anything. I don't have throttle on my bike and I feel safe all the time because I know I can only go as fast as my legs let me.

    Battery Charging - Opinions Please

when the charging light goes green, the charger regularly probes the circuitry - it does it by bringing the voltage back up to 42V for a second every now and then. If the battery needs charging, the voltage will quickly goes from 42V then down to somewhere between 32V and 42V. If the voltage is...
