Stupid question - what gauge of cable and where do you get it?

what's wrong with cutting up an old kettle lead? you don't need all 3 cores but it's easy to find and robust.

the Kudos Tornado has BPM motor too: the cheaper Woosh Sport TS also has quite decent pull. Both have 18" frames, so no height issue:

the number plate holder is a give away. a BS10 owner is defenceless if he is caught riding, regardless on a bike path or on the highway, with or without helmet because he hasn't got a number plate.

member YorkshireJason has a Woosh Big Bear. he is in Holmfirth. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/members/yorkshirejason.11460/ The handlebars are easily adjusted, the saddle post can be replaced with an unprung post. The main difficulty is to clear the rack battery with your leg swing. You can...

they are riveted together. If one of the sprockets moves, it's broken free and cannot be repaired. Chuck it. The OP has the bike only a few days, I'd ask for a swap out replacement.

What do forum peeps think of this battery location?

    1. how do you adjust the saddle height? manipulate a 4kg seat post? 2.do you need chimpanzees' arms to remove said battery? how do you prevent water ingress when the battery is removed? 3. No possibility to have sprung seat post Too many design defects.

What about the Hobbyking RC motors?

it is difficult to predict without a motor test report. The potential is there, but you need to take into account that on average, you only need 250W out of a potential 5KW output. The yield of the motor could be quite low if the motor spins at 320 RPM instead of 6400 RPM as at its maximum...

I was looking at ready made bikes about this time last year, found that the ones I like are too expensive so I bought an 8-Fun BBS01 and fitted it myself. It was dead easy, it took about an hour to fit the motor and another hour to fit the battery and wiring. The job was easy because I have...

the position of the controller box on the Alpine X is not very good either. It tends to collect water, either dripping down from the battery above or from surface water below, coming up and follow the wiring inside. The problem is, if the box is sealed then water inside cannot escape. Best to...

I stand corrected - the £1,949 Alpine X also has 8-Fun BPM motor and is indeed very suitable for St Asaph. But why they put the rear wheel so far back? that's not very clever.

The bigger battery on the Alpine helps but a big motor does make a lot of difference because you have serious hills around St Asaph. The Volt Alpine has 8-Fun 250W SWXK motor, the BH Neo and Kudos Tornado have a much bigger motor. At low speed and on hills, the BH Neo and Tornado deliver about...

    Max motor for battery.

only 20A continuous current draw. LiFePO4 has little voltage sag but not more punch than Lithium ion, so 250W motor. To get the best of your motor, you'll need 15A for 350W, 20A for 500W motors.

"better standard of construction, better brakes and lights" The BS10 shares pretty much the same mechanical kit with your Proconnect Impulse (10G XT). Honnestly, you want us to believe that the BS10 is better built than the Impulse 10G XT? " less time spent exposed to traffic and poor air...
