Even if he is wrong, that these things cannot actually happen., it is absolutely right to consider them. To allow public consideration and scrutiny. Now. Before the decisions are made. The Welsh government has announced a string of initiatives it is taking as it works towards a lockdown exit...

There were issues with some of the swabs not picking up properly. Therefore changes were made. I think some were pretty unreliable. All the best to you all.

Happened across the flu vaccination page for NHS England for 2019: What happened last year? Last winter, 5,505 people were reported hospitalised because of confirmed flu in a network of 24 trusts in England. 3,157 people were admitted to an Intensive Care Unit or High Dependency Unit as a...

Probably still a better effect than no masks at all. With the best will in the world, and much effort by many, social distancing is a very uncertain measure. We've seen the two-metre rule 100% demonstrated to be inadequate in a coach in China. Partner just did Tesco. (Apparently somewhat less...

We import so much from China. Including incorrect statistics. (Though I have not read it yet to understand why the change. After all, it is plain as a pikestaff that many UK figures are delayed or re-cast, or their derivation is changed, so that they do not show the one and only True Picture...

I suspect that there was a point at which someone, somewhere was concerned that advice to wear masks could open the government up to "I wore a mask but still got covid-19" allegations (utterly unprovable, of course). I agree that encouraging the wearing of masks is now appropriate (and probably...

Tesco are entirely free to refuse to allow any individual to enter their premises, to refuse to sell anything to anyone, and to require anyone to leave the premises. And ban anyone permanently. And if I saw anyone walking past the queue like that, I would expect Tesco security staff to take action.

Despite Question Time (Buckland) not endorsing masks, at all, Friday's Mail suggests government is going to make masks compulsory in offices. Not the first time that one representative has said one thing while another is planning the opposite.

We all have our idiots: A family from Cardiff were fined after they were caught trying to make their way to a holiday let in Freshwater East twice in one day. Despite being told to turn around, officers found the family just one mile from their destination before issuing a fine and escorting...

If it is truly urgent, I agree, I don't think there is an issue. But there seems little point in saying you cannot go to renew the prescription for Tibbles if you have to go there to pick up the prescribed medicine anyway! It is more the way they have not seen how their advice fails to make...

Much might be common sense. But they manage to choose examples which would almost appear chosen not to clarify. You can: Taking an animal for treatment. You can't: Visiting a vet’s surgery in person to renew a prescription (where this could be done over the phone). Which rather leaves...

I've got one not a million miles different I use with circular saws, sanders, etc. Old, scratched, but just as resistant to viruses. At present it feels as if the government has a positive objection to masks - of all sorts - outside specific medical, care, etc., settings.
