Longtail cargo bikes for e kit conversion.

Ferro no, someone tried oil cooling on ES and it leaked out. Just going to use adhesive conductive thermal pads and copper thin sheet etc,etc to fill all voids and a dual heat sensor with external display to start with. The OSF option allows one to solder the temp sensor direct to the controller...

    Parallel batteries (again!)

As Yak has said the charge port has two sets of wires connected, one thin & one thick. This is highly unusual and the bosh battery sipping system was in my thoughts as well, so this system must be doing something similar when an extender battery is used. It isn't paralleling in the normal...

    Parallel batteries (again!)

Trying to use logic, this suggests there might a bit of electronic skulduggery going on inside the main in frame battery. If the bike detects another battery then in use it may discharge the second battery hence the thicker discharge wires, however when no discharge is occurring it sets to...

    broken cable help

The tube valve is probably leaky try some dilute washing up liquid to see if it bubbles, if the valve core is removable replace it. Go faster hub covers, funky!!! You will have to change you name to Flash Gordon, just watch out for Ming the Merciless when out riding.

    S866 wires and voltages

Sadly these cheaper speed controllers are just that they control speed in each PAS level to a set maximum, the current is always maximum which means the ride is always frenetic giving max power all the time. Sadly a lot of people buy these control systems and don't like the way the power is...

Info required: Chinese TFI battery (ex Swytch Mk 1)

The knowledgeable repair man still exists but now a days they frequent the various forums such as this, but like the switch and battery company there are nay sayers on the forums who are scared of their own shadow who try to prevail at times. The German pedelec forum and the Endless sphere...

    Rear hub with rack battery?

I use to ride with a 5kg battery in a rack bag over the rear hub wheel and had no handling issue whilst riding.

Longtail cargo bikes for e kit conversion.

Ordered the TSDZ2 for the Ute today and some other bits off Ali to deal with heat reduction mods for the motor. Ordered a 48v 250w spec motor with VLCD5 for some minimal OSF tweaking later. I have a 44v battery so hoping it will run on that initially but have couple of longish bottle battery...

    Help! Help with bbshd 1000w

Hose lengths will depend on the bar type used, on all my bikes when I have swapped bars to sweeps I have had to buy new hoses etc to extend them. A new longer rear hose and reuse the old rear hose cut down for the front.

    Rear hub with rack battery?

My only other F hub was Bafang BPM but that was a 4.4kg lump at 20a and was a beast, torque steer and some wheel spin was the main issues as well as the low reduction gearing which made it quite an effort to ride far unpowered. The light weight G370 is about 1.7kg and has a much higher...

    Rear hub with rack battery?

For front without suspension try a set up change, generous swept bars up up to 40o and decent GP grips with thumb palm rest.

    Rear hub with rack battery?

If terrain isn't very hilly then a front hub shouldn't be an issue. The new generation of light hubs look to be good, my G370 Bafang I absolutely love and it also has no issue towing my laden trailer or carrying 110 - 120kg of rider inc a load of 30kg.

Replacement brake levers and callipers for fiido m21 hydraulic

I only offered up the one's in my link as the cut offs/sensors are integrated so no need to bodge or faff with fitting/gluing sensors on.

    Vekkit

If the pedal/PAS sensor is a std three wire job then one should be able to use any generic PAS sensor, all one has to do it make sure the wire order is correct.

    Parallel batteries (again!)

I use battery extenders or paralleled battery packs on my bikes but have not any for the Gain. Typically now I just carry another battery for longer range.

Replacement brake levers and callipers for fiido m21 hydraulic

If you don't mind Black, one can buy a set of four port hdb's with integrated brake sensors with 3 pin WP connector for £70, pads are shimano D03s. Not sure whether though they are higo or Julet but suspect they are higo as the seller sells a lot of bafang stuff.

    Electric Bike Battery Problems

This is typical of people posting about issues with bikes or batteries, we are never given the honest full picture to start with . Why not say the battery was sunk in the canal in the first post before asking for help with a smoking one ? Buy a new battery certainly don't trust the old one...
