    broken cable help

The BMS may balance charge at 4.15v per cell so 53.9v is perfect and the battery should have a little longer life cycle. My swizzbee LG bms balances at 4.15v.

Bike cutting out when battery on 3 bars

The tesla cells will be reclaimed cells, they are not available to buy direct. Again the recommendation is to limit cell use to 7a or less as they are only a 10a max rated cell. End of the day you have little choice either go with the PF cell or the larger format tesla either way they both have...

Need a suitable hub motor/wheel replacement for a Swytch kit

You have to be careful with the xiongda's as in the most part they are only small lightweight hubs, which model is it ? Is it the ultra light ytw06 ? One expects without opening it the nylon gears are slipping/worn. Also some of the controllers used use specific programming as normal bog std...

Some where in the dvla rules there is something that says two motors are not allowed.

The readings are very different and certainly not in the range one would expect. Has the controller failed ?

    fathweel controller change

Ok thanks it is a speed controller, the rating is 16a. Before one opts for a Kt controller one will have find out the continuous current rating that the battery can deliver as the Kt's will be 25 /30a also one will need to check a KT will fit in the compartment.

The pas should be fine a sit is not the pas that is dictating how the bike rides but the controller. Can you confirm if the controller has set speed limits for each PAS level?

Fancy a cargo bike but can't afford one or only want a part time cargo bike ?

It's is a clever little addon and came about before proper longtails were thought of from the major brands and as a very cheap option, they are no longer produced. It's a shame more brands don't make them as for a lot folks they would be a very good solution for shopping needs or carrying kids...

One could use the extracyle with 20" wheel nothing stopping one doing so, the isi brake braising will be the same for any disc braked bike wheel. All it means it the wheel clearance is optimises for a 26" dia wheel and not a 700c.

Depends how one is testing them and if the testing process is correct.

Stripping a battery to test it

All cell groups are balanced to .01v so pretty damn good , if they don't charge to 4.15v - 4.2v then one has to think that the capacity has somewhat reduced and time to recycle them. Likely internal resistance will be high and they will sag a lot, one could deconstruct them for torch cells.

Even if you could plug it in to a pc, one would need the product software to make changes.
