    alarm

The alarm must be traceable follow your ears to where the siren is located, root around then to actually find the alarm and then trace the wiring back. It can't be that hard surely, it will likely be behind a panel or dash and should be accessible or under the bonnet  .

Which charger for battery for Pendleton Somerby e-bike?

2a charge rate is pretty much the norm and is correct, lithium batteries for ebikes can't handle a fast charge without damage. Unlike a car they can't take a 20 or 30 minute charge to 80% because they only have a very small fraction of the battery cells.

How much cash do I need to outlay to gain an extra 2 mph ?

If you opt for a smaller wheel size the speed should be faster but any mileage/odo will be wrong. Try the 2187 28" or 26" wheel size.

    ERider moped Help

Riding with bags on each handle bar isn't a great way to transport shopping, one needs a better solution. Panniers, a long tail or a trailer, with the latter two one can carry loads.

54.3v is pretty good, this is the voltage you recorded in #240. I would not worry that the final 0.3v isn't achieved as there is little value in that last little bit. Also it may be that the BMS is set/programmed to cease balance charging at that point.

    ERider moped Help

25a means it gives good current output , if you look at the crappy brainwave controllers that a lot of the DD hubs use they can be a paltry 13a output and gutless. 1200w is the mean average one will get from a fully charged battery, at full charge the wattage will be over 1300w for a while as...

    Commuter/hybrid for tagalong

The torque figures are a bit of a red herring, the hub motor torque is direct and the mid drive is indirect.

25a so no muppet of a controller, as pete has mentioned the bike weight alone will be hefty. PSI is dependant on the tyre specs and the rating/info on the tyre wall. 25a x 48a = 1200w battery output.

Real wheel conversion with aluminium frame

No. You can run it on 13s1p or 13s2p if the chosen cell is right, so a LG 3000mah 20a Hg2 or a Sony vtc5/6 would have enough power. I run a 12s2p in a Ali drinks bottle using HG2, for up to 30 miles on low power. A motor rating as said is a bit meaningless for geared hubs, the important bits...

Now as pic of the battery is shown from the back, I can agree it is not a silverfish. Though if one want's a cheaper option a silverfish should be quite easy to retrofit with mounting bracket kit if the battery dimensions are much the same and the designs of both are very similar.
