My point was about your criticism of Guernsey Press as a quote - NOT any argument you might have about the story itself.

Doesn't appear to matter where we quote from. My quote from Guernsey Press was criticised for being from Guernsey. (Mind, same story also appeared in the Guardian.) OG's for being from the Guardian. At least real newspapers do have editors unlike YouTube.

We often see manifesto commitments being held up as, dare I say it, red lines. They are the fundamental basis on which the electorate is supposed to make their minds up. What now? BP and tories both failing to publish manifestos. Does that imply an open chequebook for them to do whatever they...

I suggest that one thing required is some sort of uninterruptible power supply for all 4G masts. Otherwise it will all go down when there is a power outage. Also, be interesting to know how it will mesh in with 5G. Will they allow or ban Huawei equipment (in both 4g and future 5g upgrade?

Words so many of us very much want to hear. But only if they mean what we hope they do. Sadly, I fear they might very well prove to mean something else - or nothing. Reminds me of lifetime guarantees. Lifetime of purchaser? Or a lifetime that might reasonably be expected of a product? Or it's...

If she were launching a party, your reply might have made some sense. MEP nominations closed 25th April so, even were it a party, it couldn't stand. No, it is a site which seems to be making tactical voting suggestions. Should be up now, but wasn't a minute ago. NOW UP!

Your guarantee is worth the paper it is written on. Last time I was involved in buying a car, the dealer made an offer which we considered to be too high. We walked away. A short while later, dealer made another offer. Higher. (From fallible memory, I think we rang to ask if the offer was...

Quite right. It is perfectly possible for someone who is hypothyroid (and never was nor will be hyperthyroid) to suffer Graves Eye Disease (also called Thyroid Eye Disease - TED). Mind, at the very start of my thyroid journey, I was with someone at a specialist eye hospital. Mentioned TED as a...

Am quite sure there is some of that. But, in the case of thyroid, I am also quite sure that there are many who simply do not reach some specific blood test level. I was diagnosed with a level of 5 and numerous symptoms. Treatment has resolved most of them. But much of the so-called guidance...

I am every year - but that is very largely because I need my repeat prescription reviewed. No GP I have met knows more about my disorder than do I. I just need a blood test and the computer system to be told to review again next year.
