Greenedge CS2 No peddle assist but throttle works?

Make sure the disc magnets are gapping the sensor by about 1mm, also make sure the disc is firmly in place. If you can turn the magnet disc by hand around the axle then it needs securing so that is can't do so.

Thought I'd become familiar with the tyres on our new Focus Planet e-bikes. Man, what a minefield.

Not forgetting 28" which is used for road/touring bikes also 622 but thinner tyres.

    Battery Care Tips?

Hope he doesn't end up in a state similar to SW mate then, no brakes can't stop, The design of rotors with spoke like direction is so that they are in tension when fitted correctly reverse them and they are in compression. One could be inviting an off as some stage when failure occurs.

Opinions about what would suit my needs greatly appriociated

Looks like it could be using another crappy 3 spd speed controller. Another non user friendly drive system the Hyena isn't diy user friendly affair, will need dealer software to make any changes. Bluetooth /cloud activation control, a TS system with option of cadence as well. The Ebiking future...

    Sabvoton controller info needed

Max current whether PAS or throttle should be a bit less then max continuous battery current and not the max peak current of the BMS. As has been said before the max continuous current is the current the battery will run at without cutting out, the max peak current is the current that may be...

well plod ceased my m8s ebike last night

SW is like marmite, sometimes ok other times not so. He does post some good stuff and this although utterly stupid riding, it is interesting to read what others get up too. Yes his mate is very lucky to be alive, he could have easily been hit by another vehicle after going over the barrier. He...

    Help! [Newbie] Batteries in Autumn/Winter

Don't charge below 17c what a load of cods, you will fine charging at lower temps just avoid freezing to about 10c. 1. Lithium stores best at low temps (remember to bring in doors for a day or so to acclimatise to ambient rom temp before charging). Low temps reduce the ability of lithium to...

    Revos ebike kit

My mK1 #17 kit is two and a half years old now and no issue with roller friction grip, 25miles I get from my 208wh battery with about a 1000' feet of ascent. Half back pedal on/off and sensor on the taking it's cue off the large sprocket, no PAS with the early MK1. Although the cut of is a...

    Battery Care Tips?

The bounce back from 2 lights to three is the battery sag , once the current demand is reduced the voltage rebounds giving a near true indication On my bikes I use a KT display with a pretty accurate voltage readout and always know the true battery SOC/voltage, otherwise one can wire up simple...

Is it still possible to get a replacement battery for a Kudos Tempo?

Answer is yes, it uses a generic battery known as a silver fish case. Plenty on ebay, amazon or other sites like Yosepower etc, etc, just double check the wire/pin out sequence on the bottom is correct so no bangs occur.

That LiitoKala battery, first use (maybe a thread to keep logging range)

17.5wh/m is quite a heavy rate to use but if one is very unfit or has a disability then it might be a fair figure to use. For a regular or a fit person who rides quite often the 8 - 12 wh/m is a more likely accurate figure which would certainly give more range.

    EBCO UCL:30 motor issue.

Finding the exact internal clutch gears may not be possible but one could use any hub motor for 100mm drop outs, it will depend if the motor is sensored or not and the motor connector used( Though I do have a vague recollection that the motor connection is not a universal type with Julet...

Your local Halfords is a good option for you as you say the guy is one of their rare gems and you have trust in him, ok as long as he remains there I guess (though if he ever moved on it may not be the same with CS). Kudos/Raleigh design have this KTM/Bosch model at £1700. .: Kudos Cycles -...

    Sabvoton 150a controller problem help

Battery can only deliver 50a max continuously, the 100a over current is a temporary measure for 5 - 10 seconds then it will cut out if the actual current demand is high. For battery longevity 40a continuous current draw would be better so controller values need adjusting.

37.4v is a very deep discharge the cells would be under 2.9v.
