    Brexit, for once some facts.

You aren't thinking. They have to be released at the end of sentence within two months, by hanging on until then they will have a far greater chance of being infected in prison confines and then infecting us. This measure is primarily to defend us, not them. .

There's plenty of chances for transfer all the time. We have a regular weekly airliner to and from the Falklands carrying military personel, other workers and at times Falklander's children who go to secondary schools and colleges in other parts of the world. .

I disagree, it's a safety measure. Only those minor offenders within two months of release are being let out early, before the infection gets a greater hold in prisons than it already has. So they are largely disease free to release now but could well be infected when they have to be released...

Putting e-bike to bed for the duration of C-virus.

Same as Amoto65 in my very high density population area, trying to register proved impossible for many I know and even the existing customers were having difficulties ordering. I didn't need to personally, being old enough to well remember the deprivations of rationing and shortages of the...

In fairness, the USA isn't far short of double the combined population of those three countries, so they are still well behind the curve. I agree though that prospects look grim there. .

All this talk of sneezing reminds me of an incident long ago. Walking in the shopping area of Streatham HIgh Road I noticed an impossibly angelic looking little boy looking like one of the cherubs in an old painting. Just as I was about to pass he gave a violent sneeze and a huge blob of snot...

Yes, these kind of places are actually busier than usual. They don't hold litter pickers in stock to collect so I ordered one from Machine Mart, next day delivery. It arrived four days later. It's to pick up possibly contaminated spilt refuse. .

Similar for me, car only and with as few visits as possible. With milk lasting much longer than the use by date at this time of the year I can go three weeks. But with the main virus impact due soon, I've now gone much further. I've frozen solid some bottles of milk in the freezer so am...

It's naturally restricted bike, speed limited by battery voltage and motor wind. Fresh off the charger 17 mph, gradually declining to 15 mph. I pedal it much faster though and at 25 to 28 mph on a long slight downslope coming back from the supermarket I've never noticed air drag. .

They are still thriving, they recently opened a second store near me, so I now have a choice of the Beckenham border to the north east or Biggin Hill to the south east, both around 4 miles. .

Classed as essentials like Halfords, Screwfix and MachineMart are doing similar to a degree, no store entry, service at the front with staff collecting the required item and contactless only payments. .

They have to be lifted of for a fold, but I rarely folded this one. They don't catch the heels, being Dutch they are well designed with an angle in the lower leading face to maintain heel clearance. The extra length of the bike with a rear of seatpost battery helps too. .

Assuming someone doesn't sneeze when doing a handstand. :) Seriously though, there's often a breeze or other air movements such as from air conditioning which can mess up any predictions, so luck is a very big element. .

Every few seconds and enforced close proximity is my experience within my large supermarket, the separated queue outside being nothing other than tokenism. Plus, due to the nature of the area, half of all the shoppers during the week appear to be over 70. .
