    No, you clearly don't understand how our vehicle laws operate. Dropping the pedelec legislation doesn't permit anything else. It just bans pedelecs. Since 1835 every individual form of motorised vehicle has to have its own specific two part detailed legislation for permission to be in use. .

    Only for manuactured e-bikes, see this link. Since it took 37 years to bring in their pedelec law to match our 1983 one, there's virtually no chance of them scrapping it as it passes it into law! .
