Battery set for the bin today.

Now compare the Moli to the Panny PF/PD cell, is the Moli26 18650 a wonder cell ? Specs and independent testing say's yes. Moli 26 is a match or better on discharge curve (5a) against other top cells like HG2, MG1, though final mah is less but you have to get to 3.3v before it loses out on...

Battery set for the bin today.

Here is side by side comparison, the Moli certainly holds up beyond 3.5v better. 3.3v in my min discharge. The Moli is 2600/25a rated but for my use well within the current rating for an easy life. One has to enter the cells to compare in the comparison boxes. Battery test-review 18650...

Battery set for the bin today.

As some may be aware I am true diyer and that includes batteries , well today I had to virtually bin a 974wh PF soft pack (a decent size being 7p 13s). As with all my batt's I check on a 4 - 6 week cycle to see that nothing untoward is occurring, this one only being checked some 4 weeks ago...

Help! Hi,from manchester, i have a problem with my cyclamatic e bike Rear wheel

No, but you are coming to the wrong conclusion's, if you think you know better then those who have been building/repairing rims/wheel and fitting them for a number of years then carry on in your own little way.

Help! Hi,from manchester, i have a problem with my cyclamatic e bike Rear wheel

Rubbish, tightening spokes has no effect on the internal hub working.

Replace the gear cassette on an e-Bike?

A pretty crappy LBS if they can't adjust/set up the gears rightly, look to see if there is a local bike workshop where like minded folks help each other with repairs and advice. Covid will have put a stop to them though now they might reappear again.

Help! Hi,from manchester, i have a problem with my cyclamatic e bike Rear wheel

Tightening spokes like you say doesn't cause any damage to the hub or cause it to make funny noises, before damage is done a spoke will snap or you will pull the nipple through the rim. The spoke flanges on hubs are substantial, over tightening doesn't cause internal damage. My guess if you...

Long range hilly terrain road/path bike.

Any cadence PAS sensor type bike which means usually a hub bike and one with a throttle, TS bikes like Yamaha, Bosch & Shimano etc,etc are for you if you can't put decent pressure in the pedals.

How effective is "slime" at preventing punctures?

40, 50 or 60 miles from home if I puncture a patch doesn't take long for me to put on so much better then a tyre full of green shite when the tube doesn't seal.

Is the Halfords Assist Step through ebike worth considering?

With throttles not fitted one would have to look or know if the controller can accept a throttle, if no then it won't have the programming most likely. An unused three pin wire output is usually the clue.

Wheels. Rims and spokes to be precise.

Either he can lace and true a std unpowered rim/wheel set or he can't, seems he's uncertain because it's an ebike and doesn't want to take the risk. Any decent LBS should be able to lace and true a new rim with 14g spokes. Just take the wheel in to them if it needs replacing, the reason they...

    Bike Workstand

On a serious note they were fortunate to have something softish to land on , one assumes they recced the route first. It could have all ended very badly.
