Putting e-bike to bed for the duration of C-virus.

You're doing it again, lecturing others with the impossible. I love walking and do it frequently but it sometimes means getting closer to people than two metres in the earlier stages of a walk. And like hundreds of us here, I don't have a garden. And how can we find "safer places to cycle"...

The lies are yours, changing your language now to cover for it. If you'd only been saying "take care", none of us would have clashed with you since we do take care. You've been arrogantly and argumentatively condemning others because they've sometimes been in circumstances unable to maintain...

Utter rubbish, you've been conducting a sustained campaign against those still cycling on the grounds that they can't stay two metres apart at all times. You've also added that they can't stay two metres away from pedestrians on the pavements. You've even had the nerve to criticise Woosh for...

Oh dear , wrong again, I said "as intelligent as". I did not say you were not as intelligent. .

Far from true, as I've posted in here previously, for every one thing I know, the number of things I don't know is almost infinite. That is true of all of us of course. But this discussion isn't about opinion, it's about the fact of what the minister and experts advised and the fact that...

I don't need to since it makes perfect sense as I've explained. I'm sorry you can't understand this very clear English usage in reference to your own posts. Wrong again. On Radio 4 a short while ago they had a leading expert on the relevant subjects to clarify this very matter. He agreed...

"I already knew that by your thinking that other's disagreement meant they hadn't understood what you'd posted" This makes perfect sense, since it's the logical explanation for your repeating yourself over and over again when disagreeing, rather than checking if it's you who are wrong. .

They are are not disagreeing with the official advice, they are merely reflecting that the separation isn't alway possible, but that doesn't remove the desirability of going out for exercise and fresh air. It's perverse not to understand and appreciate that. .

What a stupid man you prove yourself to be , it explains your perversity. I already knew that by your thinking that other's disagreement meant they hadn't understood what you'd posted. It never occurred to you that you might be wrong as I showed, such is your arrogance. I merely gained Mensa...

Why are you being so perverse, I've seen you doing the same in other threads? We are at least as intelligent as you and understand the point you are making. We disagree because you are wrong. The official advice is to only go out when necessary, and the health minister's advice is that going...

Yes it has, but I prefer to play safe by switching the air routing, not being confident a HEPA filter or it's sealing in place will stop a virus. I'm constantly doing this at normal times anyway, remember I live in one of the most traffic dense cities and don't want to be breathing in other's...

You are contradicting the earlier battery wake up advice which you'll see if you read the several preceding posts. The OP has a full battery and doesn't feel he can go out to drain it down. You are after all telling us we musn't go out! .

I didn't say that and you know it, I said the opposite. I'm not the police and nor are you, it's up to the authorities to deal with those situations, preferably on the spot using the police with anti-social behaviour penalties. Lockdowns in our society are useless, since those same people will...

It only needs a minute or so to wake it up, don't leave it charging more than that when it's already almost full. Ideally try to get out for a ride at a quiet time using full power to reduce the charge by a quarter or so, since that will help it best. .

Of course that is wrong and no-one is recommending it. But they are recommending that we get out of doors to stay healthy, just observing sensible precautions when doing so. This could last all year and even into next year and people will go barmy if indoors together to excess. The murder...

I pay attention to this. Driving from my garage through the built up areas I have the air con switched to Recirculate, using only the air in the cabin. But since I live on the city to country boundary, as soon as I'm clear into th countryside I switch to fresh air input. I'm very lucky...

Current ministerial advice is that it's not only ok to cycle and walk, it's recommended for both physical and mental health. I've been out for a drive and there are all the usual sport cyclists training in the North Downs on this fine day. The chance of picking up a virus bearing moisture...

I tried to get a disposable face mask from Screwfix where they state on the website that they are limiting to five items per person. But checking store stock showed that no store within many miles had any stock! They were far from ideal anyway, most having relief valves. .

I think the problem here is the USA sticking to Fahrenheit, we so often see that usage online. Looking a Met Office records can also keep Fahrenheit alive. .
