    Bafang BBS02b 36volt to 48v conversion.

You can't upgrade a 36v crank drive to 48v unless you don't pedal and only use the throttle, because the required cadence will be too high. If you need more power on a crank motor, you should upgrade the current, not the voltage.

Front hub 48v motor for very hilly area

No. To get the right signal, you need the right polarity travelling in the right direction. At the moment, you have one of the two right. When you flip it, you have the other one of the two right, but if you flip the magnets individually, you'll have both right or both wrong. Both wrong can then...

Front hub 48v motor for very hilly area

One thing you could try. I haven'tdone it myself, but theory says it should work. You can prise out each magnet and reinsert it the other way up. Before starting, scratch a mark onto all the magnets on one side so that you don't get mixed up. The magnets are just a tight fit in the plastic. It...

    Help! Motor hall sensor fault

The hot-melt glue will melt when you use the motor because the windings become hot in use. That's why I said hight temperature silicone.

    Bafang 250W amazing range

You might end up disappointed. Energy cannot be conjoured up from nothing. Read the whole thread before deciding.

    Help! Motor hall sensor fault

That damage would prevent the halls from working, but it won't have done any harm because they're only 5V wires. A permanent repair doesn't look easy because the wires need to be tied back. You could try using high temperature silicone sealant (Instant Gasket). Put the silicone all over the...

    Faulty eCarrera Crossfire

I have never heard of one of those bikes that didn’t cut out occasionally, and I've spoken with many owners. You either accept it because it's otherwise a good bike or change it for something else. One thing's sure, that it won't sort itself out.

Front hub 48v motor for very hilly area

The dual sensor ones like you have can't be flipped. If you have a KT controller, you might be able to reverse it in the settings. You can do that on the latest ones. Other than that, you have to mount it onthe other side of the crank. PS. I keep telling people not to buy these sensors. The...

    Is her motor toast?

If water gets in, the motor goes rusty and can make the same sound. As I said, sometimes a clean with penetrating oil is enoughto sort it, other times a bearing might need replacing (about £1 on Ebay). Damaged gears are not very common, but do happen.

    Help! Motor hall sensor fault

Likely, but by no means certain. Even if they are, they're easy to replace. When touching them, be very careful with the legs, which break too easily.

Home made mighty mini battery pack

20 cells will fit inone of those pod-shaped tool bags that go under the saddle. If you get the medium-sized one, you can get the controller in too.

    Normal battery behaviour

When a battery is charged, it's 42v. When it's discharged, it's 31v. That's why many batteries appear to accelerate downwards. It's like a petrol tank thats 4 ft wide at the top and 3 ft wide at the bottom, so it you use fuel at ghe same rate, it'll go down faster and faster.

    Help! Motor hall sensor fault

When dirty water gets in, you can see where all the corrosion and crystals are. Different motors have different ways the hall sensors are mounted. When you've opened the motor, take some photos of you're not sure how to test.

    Is her motor toast?

It might want just a clean and lube - probably worth having a look inside.

Returning my ebike to Decathlon tonight and here's why

You're taking it too seriously. What do you think was the purpose of OP's first post? Nobody could be such an inconsiderate pompous tw@t, so he must have been trolling from the start. All his subsequent posts confirmed that. Most likely, he never had an electric bike. He is clearly an extreme...

Choosing a BMS for self made battery

Look on Ebay. I can see them. Look through all the listings until you see one with the two pads or wires on the side. I can't provide a link because my tablet won't copy them. Don't take any notice of him above. A switch is really useful.

Choosing a BMS for self made battery

EBay BMSs are fine. I prefer ones with separate charge and discharge MOSFETs, i.e. three wires. Some BMSs have the two pads or a header for a switch, which is also very useful.

    Is it a hub-motor or chain-motor?

Choosing a BMS for self made battery

It's a 36V 14 amp (max) controller. A 20 amp BMS would be appropriate for that controller, though I'd go for a 25 amp one in case you want to upgrade the controller later. If you're going to use a Vruzend kit, I think it would be a good idea to add a second sense wire connector so that you can...

    Pedal assist sensor

The type of pedal sensor has absolutely no effect on the control system. All it does is send a pulsed 5V signal when you're pedalling. It's the controller and LCD that decide how to use that signal. My guess is that you've connected it to the wrong connector, like the throttle one.
