It was obvious humour, but perhaps not obvious enough for some of you. .

Don't take any notice OG, they're just putting the worst possible slant on it using factors. You do the opposite with the best slant, 10 is only 2 in binary. .

As I posted to Oxygen James on this link, I knew it was a lost cause long ago and Corbyn obviously lost the "giveaway" race with Johnson by going too far. But like many others I don't want Labour to shift to the right Blair fashion just to get into power. There's no point in two parties...

I didn't know the figures, my agree was to OG's last paragraph about Starmer. (Me not being quiet) .

I don't need to win them over. As I've sure you'll agree the Labour position has been a lost cause for some while. We'll disagree about some of the details of that but probably agree the fight will have to wait for a distant day. Meanwhile, I see no problem in expressing just criticism...

So Labour the perfect governemnt for them, only they failed to recognise it and vote Labour. Perhaps that's because they are stupid? That is what you seem to be saying. .

It doesn't matter what they do Eventually the public will finally lose patience with the Tories and vote Labour in again, as the history shows. The Tories will have had 14 years by the end of this term, probably as long as they'll manage to stay there. .

Why? The Tories didn't do that and Johnsons's similar wild promises weren't costed either. If what you say is true the people wouldn't have voted for them either. The truth of course is that the GE was about Brexit, exactly as Labour said and exactly as Johnson fought it, as Get Brexit...

Which is why we have to make do with alternation in power to restrict such moves, until we get proportional representation. .

Bugger that, too wet and cold. They'll stick with Labour's Dial a Ride, a warm dry ride with assistance. .

So why didn't that unbridled success continue when the Tories with Thatcher took over its running and messed up twice in big ways? If you were right it would have done. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

In 1945 Attlee did the same. The Tories said it was impossible then, but Attlee delivered on what he promised. You don't know what Corbyn could have delivered. Instead like so many you just believed the Tory propaganda and lies and continue to spout it. Corbyn deserved a one term try, he...

And the LibDems should have convinced you of that long ago, the middle indeed has no future. We need the balance of both left and right alternation in power, unless and until we get proportional representation when the middle will finally make sense. The left will return to power eventually...

But still London persists in being the Socialist Labour city it's almost always been, and by far the most successful part of the country. In the brief period in the 1980s that your Tory government took over the running directly by scrapping the GLC, it was such a disaster that they had to admit...

That was the police claim that was strongly disputed on good grounds. Duggan did not have a gun on him as he left the taxi, as the video clearly showed. Right handed, he had a phone in his right hand and nothing in his left. The video showed a police officer entering the back of the taxi to...
